They should have added a light rail to the Shield Plus. With that longer barrel there's definitely room.

I wish S&W would spend some time on the trigger work on their extremely expensive revolvers. I recently finally bought a Model 29. The trigger pull is one of the worst double action pulls I have ever shot. The single action is less offensive but way too much creep. Meanwhile I recently shot one of the new Colt Python .357. The trigger on it while heavier than an older gun was nice and smooth and a clean break in double action. I am so disappointed in my Model 29 I do not know whether to sell it or do an action job on it myself.

Really enjoyed my 356 TSW from the Performance Center back in the day. Superb quality gun and really knocked over the steel. Shame that the caliber didn't take off, but glad to hear that there is some interest in it again. If these are made half as well, then they're going to be mighty fine guns.

I've had my M&P 2.0 4.25 metal pistol since December of 2022 and now just at 4,400 rounds. Love it. Look forward to seeing and feeling what this new model shoots and feels like

I see Jerry post and I click. Admittedly I'm still a little sore with S&W over my gen 1 M&P40. The trigger was so bad it was unusable and then the grip was extremely slick. S&W told me if I stippled the grip it would void my warranty so I had to buy a Hogue grip sleeve for it. Then I had to buy an Apex Tactical trigger kit to fix that issue because S&W claimed there were no problems with the trigger and had never heard of anyone with a problem despite the forums full of people with the same issue. I just can't make myself buy another gun from them but those are some admittedly nice guns!
