Where are all the comments going…? Hiding comments is not the same as public relations. I love how people are clearly just as crushed as I am, I only wish there was someone there with a spine to address the septic overflow of your actions. ❤

@@nataliekeener1816 They were selling a LIFETIME subscription, you could BUY the app, which I did personally for GoodNotes 5 (they even had promotional material about how they were so much better than some other similar app at the time who went with subscriptions) and how they wouldn't do that (which at the time was the REASON I went with GoodNotes) then not only did they switch to subscriptions with GoodNotes 6 but they screwed up GoodNotes 5 so we can't stay with it and not upgrade. It's buggy, can't sync, constant upgrade prompts. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they are hoping it just blows over.

You guys will never understand the betrayal I feel every-time I see Good-Notes mentioned. The disgust has roots and leaves on it.

@@gracesuarez3154 They ripped off everyone who paid out full price for LIFETIME GoodNotes 5 and then crippled it and tried to get them to pay a subscription for GoodNotes 6, which is horrible.

Goodnotes- either apologize, acknowledge or reply to the comments- don't hide them. You look scammy enough as it is.

The Cornell is my favorite too 🥰 I started using it on paper and then when I bought my iPad it was great to know that Goodnotes already have a paper designed with this method! Loved it!

@@T3B-oh6mp They ruined the good-working Goodnotes 5 that I (and a LOT of other people) paid for a LIFETIME license and try to force us all into GoodNotes 6 which is a subscribtion and has buggy AI junk in it, all a greedy money grab that disables a smooth working GN5. AND THEY KNOW IT.

hello uhm i have a problem! im on my school iPad right now but i had the goodnotes 6 but it immediately changed to goodnotes 5. My school iPad doesnt have the app store we only have an specific app where we download stuff and i dont know how i can change back to goodnotes 6 and my school only allows the newest update so far, so please reply and help!

@@BasicFolders i don’t care it’s atleast a company and everyone has they’re own opinions okay? That is REALLY rude, in my country i think its very good and so what i just use it for school? i can’t have an other app how i said i do not have an appstore.

@@blobbybloby64 They got everyone else's business because they didn't charge a subscription, and said they wouldn't. Then when we buy GoodNotes 5, they make it unusable (upgrade popups, broken links, interupted re-downloads from the app store) trying to force everyone to pay a subscription. Now I have all the hours I spent being proficient with GN5 and the paid lifetime subscription all wasted, and that's separate from GN6 being garbage with half baked AI (which nobody needed, asked for, or wanted) and doesn't work. Also, they're not even sorry, or moving lifetime members to GN6 which is still a downgrade. They know EXACTLY what they did, and it was out of greed. And intentional. And all about money. And no concern for user experience. They are just hoping people will forget it in a matter of time.

@@blobbybloby64 even though I use GoodNotes everyday and paid 30 bucks for the lifetime subscription AGAIN after I paid it before for GN5 the new features aren’t worth the 30 bucks and it’s even lacking more than ever. This company indeed shat in every customers mouth.
