Charles experienced pain and embarrassment from his poor dental situation. He knew he didn't want dentures and his research made him shy away from the All-on-4 because of the bone removal and large plate in the mouth. He discovered the 3 on 6™ and after researching it, he realized it was the best solution for him. Charles went to Dr. Alexander Shore of Signature Smile Arts in Homewood, Illinois (south of Chicago) for a consultation. Dr. Logan Locke of Smile Systems flew out to Chicago to assist Dr. Shore on the surgical date. Charles had his teeth extracted, implants placed, and received a temporary set of teeth to heal with for a few months before he will receive his final zirconia bridges. It would be a hit TV Show! There's so many in this country with bad teeth, including myself. Mine are probably the worste. However, I'm kind of stuck. On SSI/DI w/ a Medicare Cigna Advantage Plan that covers $0 co-pay in extractions & $20k a year in dental including prosthetics but I'm sure that's just dentures & everyone I know with dentures, don't like & wear them. I'd give my left leg for teeth. You would think should be covered by Medical insurance since teeth are so important to health. Especially your heart & I'm Disabled with heart disease & cannot afford these. The poor could only dream

Hang about was this immediate placement of all six implants so roots were there in the right spots and no grafts needed.

That's how I feel everyday, I Don't go outside or Any place where People are. I Stay Home and I only go to my Doctor appointments. I have been dealing with no teeth for 3 years and I have Medicare Medicaid Nebraska United Healthcare in both of them.

as i sit and watch these videos i start thinking about the all on 4 that I have gotten done. i had good bone and my gums were perfect so I would have been a great candidate. but as always its typical to find videos like this after you get a procedure like done which is too late now.

Why would u rather have had the 3 on 6? I’m starting to go to consultations to get mine done, the one I’m leaning towards does all on x. They use zirconia

3 0n 6 means u keep your bone and no fake gums all on 4 should be someones last option. U only see the videos of people after they just get the all on 4 so there happy but later on they say its a little bulky in your mouth dont get me wrong there great option and look great. But 3 on 6 or a inplant bridge is the only thing that will fell like your real teeth. And the Dentist will try to talk u in to the all on 4 cuz not a lot of places do 3 on 6. Its the same money so if u can do 3 on 6 or a inplant bridge do it. A d make shore u do your research. Cuz its forever hope i helped

@michaelbarbarino1581 thanks for replying by the way. I appreciate it. I went into my local dentist and asked if he would do implant bridges. He said yes..but they don't do help with financing so I also called 3 on 6 to get that consultation started as well. I almost agreed to snap ins without realizibg...AND bc I asked it looks like my bottom front canine to canine could be saved, and they were just going to rip them out 🫨

Patients can pay in full, but most prefer to make payments. Most providers work with 3rd party lenders to help their patients find good financing options.

I have had all my top teeth removed for 6+ years and my dentures are WAAAY TOO BIG NOW 😬🤬 I paid $3,000.+ dollars for them and they never really fit that good 😣 and now I have to use SOOO MUCH “ADHESIVE” to make them fit properly that it’s hard to get them OUT 😳🙄🤬 Isn’t there a less expensive option? $24,000 IS WAAAAY MORE THAN I CAN AFFORD 😱😭😭

Bone density reduces with dentures, which can cause their fit to loosen over time. It may be worth getting fit for a new set of dentures until you’re ready for the 3-on-6. Or perhaps you can have some acrylic temporaries made while you explore your options. A consultation helps a lot with determining a treatment plan and payment options. Good luck either way.

We see hundreds of patients that are dealing with those exact problems. The problem is that without implants in the bone, the bone in your mouth will continue to deteriorate and dentures will stop fitting. The best way to protect the bone in our mouth is with dental implants. $24,000 is a lot but we help people find financing options that work within their budget. You can either make a payment on a car that will last you 10-15 years or you can invest in your smile and oral health and improve the rest of your life. We realize for some people on fixed incomes they just can't afford it and in those cases we can recommend other procedures.

I find it sad and pathetic how little dental technology has evolved in the 50 + years since implants were developed. Additionally, even though 3 on 6 may be superior to All-on-4, I can't put my full trust in a trademarked "system". I see these clinicians as buying a fast food franchise when they get certified to perform the 3 on 6. The system is designed to better serve the clinicians then the patients. I don't mean to bash dentists, I know they invest a lot of time and money in their educations and the work can be very stressful but I'd love to see more practitioners of this and other methods take it to the next level; case in point; David McFadden in Dallas, a prosthodontist who's devoted himself to mastering the skills it takes to produce the best outcomes for patients. And yet, all these methods are beyond the financial reach for most, and for most who do, incur a huge burden of debt.

It’s a nice concept, but the lack of interdental papilla makes them look less aesthetically pleasing and fake.

Well, seems like a lot of people disagree. It would seem they think having bone removed, artificial gums, and a transition line/food trap is less pleasing.
