Thank you Lord. Our son died last year and we offered mass for 40 days for him.

That last story of the sinful woman was the most beautiful one! Despite being so displeasing to God, she did an act of PERFECT repentance and contrition, literally at the last moment, and then went straight to heaven! This is why we should embrace humility, don't think of ourselves too highly above others in the spiritual life, and never give up. We just might turn the game around at the last moment and get the biggest win of our life!

I, for one, am GLAD that Purgatory. I thus have hope that I might go there before going to Heaven.
