Use a 150lb gripper regularly. Try to go to “failure” once a day in my office. Really happy I can get the 200lb for a single and the 250lb halfway lol

If you do a mixed grip make sure you don't put the supinated hand in the same spot you would put the pronated hand, because typically when you supinate your hands will be slightly outside of that spot, unless you want the bar to tilt

You could certainly tie some ropes around dumbbells or kettlebells and go for a walk, as well as you could start hanging on a pull-up bar every single day to gauge your CNS recovery, and build up that tolerance, slowly working towards hanging with one hand but if you wanted to be more sports-specific you should put a barbell in a corner and do landmine single leg RDLs, as well as learning how to do a landmine deadlift, which you would stand with one foot beside the bar, end of bar about midfoot, the other foot behind you acting as a kickstand (on toes), reach down and when you grab the bar, explode up and end up on both tippy toes. Yes it is unstable but you can still translate strength through your toes into your fingertips which is a lot easier to do than to go out and buy a loading pin with a hub a block attachment a CD style attachment a Cannonball or a hilt and try improving your grip that way. At least with the thicker end of the bar you can start to build up some strength through power, I would definitely try to slowly lower it which will overload that crushed grip strength and let go before doing another repetition.

I Implement grip training 2 times a week if not more but I also get extra grip training by training with steel clubs and you need to start focusing on recovery by getting extensor bands or a bucket full of rice or a bucket full of sand. I have a lot of grip tools as well as attachments that I use but I try not to use them on strength days, only on impulse days

I love the mind pump guys, but I think they're wrong about straps. Steve Shaw of Massive Iron has talked about how straps brought his back strength way up and he could still lift more without straps after building the strength. It also seems inconsistent to be for chalk but against straps.

Fat grippers are also yourself to add to the bars. Iv also found something like a wide grip stiff legged deadlift or RDL challenges and strengthen s the grip due to the time under tension

I use paper towel from the locker room damped with water. Wife makes fun of me, some ppl have come to me offering grip straps which I politely refuse explaining to them I’m trying to strengthen my grip. I also do sets grabbing the 45lbs plates.
