Some of you have been asking for more abstract doodles/easy doodles, so I made another simple one, with warm muted pastel tones, as I've been really liking these colour combinations. Hope you guys enjoy this one ^_^

Love these! I struggle with two things when painting or drawing leaves - I either put too many leaves or branches on a plant or I don’t get the spacing right between leaves or branches. I need to learn when to stop adding things. The other thing I struggle with is painting a thin even line that doesn’t wiggle all over the place. I don’t have steady hands and that is quite evident when I try to paint thin lines. It’s better when I use fine liners because I can press down enough to steady my hand. Maybe some kind of hand rest would help? Anyway, I love your videos and always come away having learned something and inspired to paint! Thank you!

I used to have the same problem, for me it helps to find a composition of a branch that you like and try to copy it to see how and why it looks nice the way it is. These are so zen that I can't take my eyes off them. I see that you often use a lot of Grey of Grey. What mix do you recommend for getting a result similar to it? I think it looks quite neutral, but in some photos, it seems to be on the cool side with a bit of purple in it. So after trying, I think Ultramarine and Burnt Umber?

Thank you so much! it is on the cool side, but once its on paper it's actually very neutral. You can use graphite grey with white or a mix of burnt umber and ultramarine with white. I personally like grey of grey because it has a set amount of white in the mix, so I can keep getting the same ratio :))
