It must be so heartbreaking for the loved ones of those deceased climbers knowing that their bodies are still up there after all those years and are being used as landmarks.

The Everest story is absolutely chilling! Can we just appreciate that these stories are made so much scarier by how vividly he allows the listener to visualize them.

regarding the first story: two dead bodies were found with gunshot wounds in the adirondack mountains on october 15-17th i don’t quite now which day but yeah. so they most likely witnessed two murders.

The Everest story kinda got to me... Like a maniacal ghost waiting to lure people higher and higher to their death in the death zone.

Mt Everest has always scared me considering since it’s so cold bodies don’t decompose and you see your fellow hikers lying dead Wondering if you will join them

A few months ago I started researching the bodies and stories of Everest. It took me over it was insanely fascinating. I fell down a deep rabbit hole.

To all the people discussing the uncle’s shock at finding a dead body in the “death zone”: there is a big difference between talking about dead bodies and encountering one. The uncle had never found one before; I imagine it was a severe shock.

Man the second story is the most scary of them all. Imagine you're isolated at the death zone of Everest forgot you're meds you don't know what u just encountered a living person or a ghost or u just hallucinating and all of a sudden it becomes a pitch black and you wake up at the Tour zone hospital that's fucked up.

A Mr. Nightmare Netflix series/audio drama about him narrating mysterious or traumatic past events would be epic!

Story 2: Why do i feel whatever that man was seeing, was the last moments of that smiling guy before he died

Yaknow going into the "death zone" just sounds like tempting the reaper.

Imagine taking Mr. Nightmare to a kindergarten class to tell a story to the kids...

The Mount Everest story really got to me, because when I was ten I was obsessed with it, and knew all about the death zone, altitude sickness, and bodies that littered the top. So hearing a horror story about it with someone traveling ALONE and possibly seeing a ghost was just chilling.

And that’s why I’ll never even consider climbing Everest

I camped and hiked extensively in the Adirondack national park, its the largest in the US - and no one expects it to be in NY state. I never experienced anything odd, but its a wild empty place and I could well imagine such a thing happening. Always camp and hike with friends. Be safe.

This guy could tell a story about anything and it would instil fear in me.

I feel uncomfortable with the stories where someone is potentially being attacked and onlookers are just like "so I left and never looked back". Like I understand if ur out in the wilderness, unarmed and with no cell reception, but the least u could do is phone the police when u get somewhere safe? I've heard it happen in quite a few scary story comps online now

First time back listening to these stories in 3 months. Was in a dark place when I lost my dog in June, and couldn't find the good in anything. Glad to finally be in a good place again, and since it's Fall, I see it as a time of transition.

I’m glad I found this channel recently instead of when it started b/c now there’s a ton of videos and I’ve been binge watching them and I’m addicted.

The moment I heard Everest I knew it was about the death zone. Hallucinations, heart and breathing problems, including paranormal sightings are normal in that zone for the high number of deaths. Even people who have managed to get on top sometimes wont survive their way down because of the loss of energy and poor oxygen level that their hearth cant take anymore. Edit : and the death zone is so messed up that authorities dont even try to get the bodies back.

I gotta respect Mr. Nightmare for the variety of topics he’s given recently

in the third story those people in that cave were people, they just never left the cave. If you've seen the movie The Descent.... well.... you know what i'm talking about.

Along with mr nightmare lullabing me to sleep every night he tells his stories like I’m a longtime friend of his sitting at his campfire like in his older videos so Mr Nightmare thank you for being a friend telling me many of your stories (even though there submitted via email, subs, or Reddit) and creating a calming yet frightful illusion to help me get by in life :’)

I’m pretty sure in the first story it’s a mountain lion or cougar that’s making those sounds. They truly do sound like a woman being brutally killed, but it’s just a big cat, not particularly safer than a murderer but I definitely don’t think any woman was killed in the story. Still smart that they left the area though as those cats can attack humans

That last story interests me in such a weird way imagine if that was you. i cant even come to words thinking about it, it almost makes me wish i could have seen the whole situation. it really makes you think what is out there in the world

Story 1 is pretty chilling In the mountains in the woods and its dark...hearing that woman scream and the popping noise echoing makes it 10 times more chilling knowing someone could be getting hurt or killed..the echoed scream and pop makes this even more disturbing...I actually started getting chills hearing the screams echoing..that's actually pretty terrifying

Story 1: Next time you hear a scream you better run instead of sleeping. Story 2: If you go into the Death Zone you’re going to disrupt the dead. Story 3: Caves can do things to a person as the isolation, darkness, terror, can change them into monsters that they once feared.

The first one where the “thing” screams was most likely a cougar you can find many vids on KZfaq of cougars doing it even linx’s do it and it is terrifying when you hear it in the woods no matter if it’s day light or not Edit: some of y’all saying “then what shook the tent” and I’ll say this.... anything could have... the wind, maybe even a small earthquake, raccoon, squirrels, mice, bear, deer, elk, skunks, some birds, bats, it literally could be anything plus who actually know if this story is true 😂it’s a good story but you can’t put all your eggs in one basket

Wow, no matter what topic the story is, you never cease to get me to stay up late all paranoid lol.

Don’t know, but the 1st stories gave me the chills, and I’ve watched almost all mr nightmare videos for 2 years.

In Story number 2, that is an actual dead body that is on Mount Everest.

The first story I don’t get why would those girls agree to staying in a tent by themselves after hearing a woman’s scream and why didn’t leave the first time they heard the scream

since mr. nightmare doesn’t post as much I recommend a channel called chilling scares their stories are awesome and do narrations similar to this channels it’s such a good channel definitely one of my favorites!!

Mountain climbing is something I'll never do, due to how dangerous it can be. Make one mistake and you'll fall to your death.

My final thoughts bout this vid: 10/10, This is a very good vid, liked every story, every moment, really caught off guard when there was screaming in the first one, the 2nd one was a typical ghost story not to shabby, and the 3rd story sounds like a creepypasta and I love It!
