But I believe it is the best camera for real estate photography in 2022! I have had my X-H1 for 4 years! I only use it for still photography, and have installed all of the updates! I have NEVER missed a shot due to slow focus, and still see no need to "upgrade"! Maybe, it's the quality of lenses I use.You clearly bought the X-H1 for video, which you don't seem to clearly point out in your review. For still photography, however, the X-H1 is an excellent choice , that I've found for professional use!

That’s awesome you’ve had it for 4 years. I picked up the X-H1 because of its photo and video capabilities, however I’ve been mostly focusing on video lately due to the quality of the files I’ve been able to produce with it. But I use it for both photo!

@@DonTinsley i do not agree on the "30%" number and the ibis point. The af misses maybe 2/50 shots and maybe 4/50 sports shots in my use, the video af is also very fine if you use it with a half decent lens. The ibis is amazing, i got 1/15th shots with a vintage 200mm lens. The 8-bit and 10-bit conversation is actually genuinely stupid, it makes 0 difference because the 10-bit on the xt3 is only 420, no one would ever know which product was shot on which

Thank you for commenting. As to look back at this video I think it would be great to highlight the 3 reading from a photo and video perspective. And I agree, the lens can have an impact on the overall performance. As for a beginner getting into photography and videography I think it the X-H1 could be a challenging camera for some, but overall it could be a great camera for the the majority. I recently got the X-H1, which is my first FujiFilm camera. I've tried various cameras from Canon, Panasonic, and Olympus before, and I quickly spotted the three issues you mentioned in this video. Indeed, those are the main drawbacks, but all in all, it's a good camera. I'm glad you ended the video on a positive note! All the best!

Super dope content as always! I am very sentimental over my XH1 however with the new cameras from Fuji, the XT3's and XT4's will be very attractive on the used market with noticeably more updated specs. I doubt I will sell mine, but i think it's time to consider the Xt4.

Great to hv the Negs as well as the Pos; then if u buy u know wot to expect. The older style batts is particularly useful info cos u know there will be extra / extra expense to always b fully charged. All very useful, thanks Don.

A entry level photographer camera will be a X-T30 or X-t300 not a X-H1. this is a Pro grade camera for Portrait, Landscape, Street, Weddings and more. is very good in al lot. But i see your point if you are semi-pro photographer in 2022 to get the X-H1. but to say it's a beginner camera is to say the x-t3/4 , x-pro2/3, Lumix G9, Sony a73 are all beginner camera's. and that is not the case i think. :P Keep it up with the Dope video's do.!

I agree! And I recommend the X-H1 because it’s definitely a growth camera. Can do what the “entry level” can do and much more. Much more room for growth at an entry level price 😊. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Thanks for the video, got mine with a grip 2 weeks ago.. 1 battery can shoot 8 mins of 4k 24p is that normal?? Another thing is when leaving the charger overnight its the battery in not at 100% its like hitting 100% then gradualy decreasing..whats wrong here?

That is not normal. I am getting about 30 to 45mins of shooting on one battery. Which batteries are you using?

in nikon DLSR you can shot whole week with 1 battery, so whats the point?

Maybe one day Mirrorless cameras will get there when it comes to battery life. The point is shooting with whatever you want regardless of whatever else is out there on the market. Which Nikon are you shooting with? I just might look into. Have some Nikon lenses I’ve been adapting to other bodies and I’m looking for a Nikon to walk around with.

@@DonTinsley it will not. e=mc2. so bigger battery always mean heavier camera, and it destroyed the illusion of mirrorless is smaller and lighter. i agreed, camera and lens are just tools to creates arts, rembrant can makes masterpiece with charcoal, while we cant even we have the most expensive crayon. i dont have a nikon, currently using nx300, 450d, and em5 mkii. i just borrowing my friend d750 and it battery last very long. currently im very interest with Xh1 and z5 for wedding, but it seems xh1 battery very unreliable for work horse.

I love my Fujifilm X-H1 but it’s not perfect especially in the video department when it comes to low light and other things. I think it’s perfect for photography though.

Now you produce this video? Last week I purchased a XH1. Got a good deal because of the lenses sold with the package. I just purchased the battery grip in excellent condition from MPB because the package didn’t include the grip. I suppose if you are going to do video then the grip would be a good thing to have. Mixed feelings about the purchase. This body is chunky and more so with the grip. It is also heavier than I like for a full day of street photography. I hope to use the video features for clips. Right now I’m not a big user of video. I’m prepared for this to change. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

Hi, I produced this video a little over a year ago. I’ve had the X-H1 for nearly 3 years at this point. It is a chunky camera, I do have to admit I am drawn more into the chunkier camera. On the photo front you can’t go wrong with the X-H1. From the photo first pov the x-h1 is video capable in the case you need it and vise verse. What it all comes down to is if the x-h1 is the tool for the job. Now I use my X-H1 as a walk around video camera when I am shooting photo with the X100F. And I lend out the X-H1 and the X100F out as a package to a shooter for her events and client shoots. If you have any question when it comes to video let me know

Just got the X-H1 w/ a Sigma lense 16mm 1.8F, for about 900 in total, like new status. Is that worth it? 750 for the camera, 150 for the lense.

I think that’s work it. $900 for a pro body and a lens, definitely worth it! Imho. But, is it worth it to you?

I got mine boxfresh for 800€ + 1000€ incl. tax for the 16-55 2.8 less than two years ago. Now they go for 650€ used. That's the absolut max you can get out of 2.8 apsc zoom - sublime noise, image quality. But Battery and Autofocus is really shit. I doubt we get such a bargain on the H2 or H2s (more interesting for lowlight hence the lower resolution/bigger pixels and 2.8 is already a disadvantage in the night but I don't want to go back switching between 3 primes -.- like I did on my olympus m4/3). On X-H2 I dislike the missing classic dials. I like the new implemented standard dials though. X-T5 will be too compact to be comfy for one hand handling just like the X-T4. Comparing the price and having lost it's key feature one could go for full frame 4.0 to keep it weight and size comparable... I think I will keep it for quite a while. Found this randomly cause I was looking for hooking it up to the wall outlet and use it as a webcam.

I agree, when thinking about the price, form factor, and functionality of fuji's recent cameras the X-H1 still fills a gap in the FujiFilm lineup. You can plug it into the wall with a dummy battery, or with the battery grip and a DC cable.
