"I'm gonna try to make more of these..." was definitely my favorite part of this video. Thanks, man! Great way of delivering the info, no 87 forced jokes, to the point but enough, etc... Thanks again. I love your styling and composition. Would love to see videos about your thought process and actual process with those. -How do you decide which plates to use? -How do you decide if you want extra props, crumbles, flowers, etc? -How do you decide what background to use? -Do you recommend expensive/photography-specific ones, tiles, home-made, foam boards...? (backdrops) -Anything else really Sorry if that was a lot, I just really love your simple yet impactful style.

I started using artificial after getting tired of chasing winter light. Never turned back.. Congrats on the move to Milwaukee!

Hey Nick! Nice content! What do you think about continuos lighting? Is it as good as flash?

It’s ok! But not as good as flash. You can get away with better and cleaner camera settings with flash. But it all comes down to personal preference!

what makes you choose flash over constant LEDs? It does seem like the flash images pop more, just wondering.

You can use low ISO with flash (because it's usually more intense than LEDs) and personal preference!

New subscriber here! Your room seems quite small with low ceiling, do you think the bounced light from the flash/ umbrella act more like a fill light in such conditions? the walls being white might help too I guess?

Yeah it is quite small! Can't wait to upgrade to a new studio haha and yes I think the walls could definitely act as a fill source. My surface is just far enough away from the walls though where not too much light is coming back into the scene. Hope that helps!

@@BornIntoThis20 yeah definitely! You can always use white poster boards for fill too!
