As a former trucker (last a decade ago) Walmart's and truck stops were the only options to park. I heard they no longer allow semi-truck parking now also. Walmart uses child labor overseas, try to avoid going to shop there now. Safe travels guys, nice work!!

Walmart have joined the crazy. If they only knew how many of us are discovering that everyone is finally really waking up to the control over the people is real enough to make everyone uneasy... I love your channel. I travel alone winters and so appreciated Walmart's hospitality. All they needed was to have you register inside. Some kind of resolution would boost their relationship with the customer they rely on. In FL, I went shopping at 2pm and spent over $400. I came out to a little car with a blue light sitting by my class A motorhome. Needless to say I gave him a loud piece of my mind. I was not even staying THERE! Support small business wherever you can. I do NOW. It is possible to live without WALMART.

I disagree. Wal-Mart is pretty nice about parking. Once, after traveling in high winds, I stopped at a Wal-Mart that had no overnight parking. I went inside, bought icy hot for my arms, then told the manager I had to rest a few hours. Was no problem! My understanding is Wal-Mart doesn't want RV's parked there for days. I also bought two RV batteries at a Wal-Mart to replace my one medium size battery. They installed for free and were an excellent price! RV parts stores charge 50 percent more. After 2 years, both still working great! I also support small business, but also find great prices at Walmart.

The natural surrounding is way cooler than a parking lot. Feeding bison…who knew! Very cool guys. I’ve never seen anything like that.🙂

We belong to Harvest Hosts as well as Boondockers Welcome, under the Harvest Hosts umbrella. Boondockers Welcome allows you stay several days. I love harvest hosts because you get to see so many things you never would and meet so many interesting people. Safe Travels.

That was awesome! One of my favorite places to camp is on the Wind River canyon in Wyoming. Just below Boysen lake. The canyon is spectacular. And Thermopolis Wyoming is just out of the canyon. All natural hot springs everywhere. Thermopolis is a neat little town with lots to do. Big dinosaur museum and you can go out to where they dig dinosaur bones. Good restaurants and free state park and free hot springs pool. There's also a fur store there where they made the bison coats used in the movie Hateful 8.

If you're in Texas during the pandemic the Texas state government passed a law no over night in Walmart parking lots I think KOA lobbyist payed good money 💰 for that

Wal Marts in El Paso used to allow RV and semi overnight but since COVID they are no longer open 24 hrs so they no longer allow it. It may come back once they are open 24 hrs again. What great stays. The alpacas look like babies. They are so cute. The bison are such beautiful animals. Their babies are cute too.

Exactly. I drive for Walmart now and we can park overnight at most Walmarts. I used to drive OTR for another company and they would NOT let us stay overnight. Some would barely let us park just to go in and shop. The ones in Atlanta will put a boot on your truck so fast your head will spin.

That was a wonderful Harvest Host. We're definitely signing up before we hit the road. Even with the weather it's still great to see thr ever changing landscapes. That's a beautiful river camp site. We're sweating here on the Gulf Coast and you're in the 40's😳 but those Hot springs look fun. Checked out Vintage Motor and looks cool. Love these interviews, and the Bison. Love Lava Hot Springs! My uncle showed me this place 20 years ago! Good to see it's still a wonderful little spot to soak and relax. Nearby there is a place called Bear Lake and that area is known for their raspberry shakes!

Hey I was wondering what y’all use to make coffee in the rv. I drive truck and either make my own cold brew but i also use a hand grinder with either a Hario v60 or a clever dripper almond with a cheap gooseneck kettle.

Wondering why Walmart doesn't allow RV parking? This couples first entry is one reason...plan to stay 3 days? Supposed to be overnight. I've also seen people put out their slides, awnings and chairs. Don't blame Walmart on this.

First of all, We never planned on staying at this Walmart for 3 nights and we also never said that. After being turned away by this one There were several Walmarts we researched and they too didn’t allow RV overnight parking which led us to finding those 3 great alternatives we shared in the video! It’s a shame folks would do some of the things you mentioned, disregarding the overnight polices of Walmart… which in turn would ruin it for the individuals who respect and follow them. So we don’t blame them at all. As a matter of fact there were a few that still allowed it! Just wish Walmart, since they once openly allowed RV overnight parking would post something on their site letting Rvers know which locations are acceptable and which are not!

Then I guess Walmart is going to lose even more business. I know a lot of people that always hit Walmart for their camping/vacation supplies, before heading out on the road. I don't shop there anymore, unless I absolutely have to, as their prices have doubled & half shelves are empty most of the time. I like that you found "hosts" to accommodate you, plus you get to see things you normally may not, by parking elsewhere. Safe travels 🙏😎👍
