In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content) on Patreon: / stroller-buyers-37953864
These materials are also available via channel membership on KZfaq: / @barnevognverkstedno , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerw...
In this video we discuss the Babyzen Yoyo 0+ base (baby-nest) and give our opinions as to why it is not the optimal travel option for a newborn baby. Despite our criticisms of the 0+ base, we are big fans of the Babyzen Yoyo in general.

Thank you The Stroller Workshop! This video precisely targets my concerns about the realistic comfort levels of the newborn pack. Subscribed!

I had the newborn pack and found it useful from 2-5 months. Before that, my baby seemed too fragile and afterwards too big for it. But it only worked well on totally smooth terrain. I used a baby carrier a lot and the yoyo for my diaperbag and as a place to safely put baby in while sitting in a café/resaturant. The yoyo only takes up the space of a chair, when you fold down the handle and can therefore be used in spaces where you couldn't bring a normal stroller. You can even use it to stroll your baby up and down in your flat to soothe them. You can also combine the newborn pack with the car seat without disassembling. Car seat is sturdier and narrows the footprint of the stroller further, as you can steer it with only the car seat handle and fold the stroller handle down (also great for carrying it down steps), but the car seat adds weight and babys should not stay in it for longer periods of time, if it does not recline. The newborn pack is great to buy used, as you can wash all parts. I would not pay the full price, as it is only a nice-to-have gimmick, not an all-round solution

Most helpful thanks. We had a twisted strap. One of the shoulder straps had to be taken out of the buckle and twisted round. Not sure if you have seen that before. Thanks again.

Also I hate that it's so low to the ground and the handle is so short. It's hard to bend that much to pick up a crying baby or to have back pain because of the low handle. Wheels are too small so only for a flat terrain and if you try to put a larger bag on the handle, it could flip over.

I'm a first time mom and sincerely on the hunt for the best stroller to last our kiddo. Since the Yoyo+ has a car seat attachment feature now; would you say it would be ok to purchase the 6+ stroller. Then simply have my newborn in the car seat with the attachments until they grow into the 6+ stroller seat? Would that be more sturdy than the Yoyo+ newborn package/bassinet you are showing us in this video?

Yes. Absolutely. If your life conditions are such that an ultracompact stroller fits you best, then I would definitely prefer a car seat with adapters to the baby nest, since it has a hard, rigid shell and sits up a bit higher :)

@LeeAnna Castro А newborn shouldn't spend more than 1,5h - 2h in a car seat. Read about it. It can be really dangerous.

This answer is just for the sake of future readers. I agree with Filippa, altough an exception would be the Cybex Cloud Z car seat that once on the stroller, it can recline flat.

@@BarnevognverkstedNo Great :) Are you American or Norwegian btw? Your accent sounds so American but you mentioned you live in Norway, and you actually pronounce Stokke correctly. So Im curious as to if you are a Norwegian with really good English or American?

American-born with a Norwegian mother, but I've been living in Norway almost 20 years now. I take it from your name that you're Norwegian as well :)

@@BarnevognverkstedNo Yes I am. I actually have an American fiance, but we live in Norway though. He does not know how to pronounce Stokke right haha, like most Americans. So that was quite impressive, but I guess having a Norwegian mom explains it
