Bought a para 3 and para 2. Para 3 is just too small. Like the para 2 so much better. Because of your vid I'm currently rocking a para 2 with: s90v, flytanium lotus scales, flytanium tritium green lanyard plug, titanium screws, custom pocket clip that has the lines like the scales, 5x5 wave, wise men company aluminum signet ring, the whole thing is silver colored and stonewashed. It may have cost 500-600 but I can now switch out to any blade or any part, and always have a premium beater knife.

That's awesome brotha🙌 I feel the same way, never afraid to use and abuse my modded para3 and always like showing it to people as an example of just how far you can go to really personalize it and make it your own🔥🔥

@@Rollshambo Also one last thing. I like most don't have the funds to use expensive knives as beater/work knives. But when you customize you can just swap out a single part if it goes bad and you still have all the other parts you can use. To me it justifies using the whole expensive package as a beater/work knife.

Modifying one of your favorite knives to make it personal and perfect for you is one of the most rewarding knife enthusiast things I've done..my manix 2 is on the list to be modified as well just haven't done it...yet🤙🔥🔥

The first Para 3 I bought was a gift. I handled it a bit and thought it was cool, but it went on. I was sniffing around for one of my own and bought one on the secondary with some aftermarket scales pre-installed. In my carry practice, it kinda fits into a strange void. It's a little short for a knife I want to have in my front pocket but its height makes it slightly uncomfortable for backpocket carry. So that's something I'm still working out. I also haven't quite figured out left handed compression lock manipulation. But, I still love it for what it is. I hope to get its bigger brother into the fold but I can still have a pretty effective Spyderco carry with it and the Manix 2 LW.

Manix 2 is a great spyderco carry..the ball bearing lock is incredible can't go wrong with that! With the retention ring on this one it makes it more of a full size carry but I know that won't be everybody's speed it's just something I've really enjoyed for myself

I have 2 both with DLC blades one in Black G10 with a red aftermarket deep carry clip with a S45vn blade And one with a Cruwear blade and purple G10. They are very good especially if you live in or near places with blade length restrictions.

Your Para 3 is straight 🔥 I also have the Para 3 with Blk DLC Ti Flytanium scales along with Red Ti Hardware purchased from the same person as you from Etsy. Knife looks fantastic! But my main carry is the TRM Atom w Textured TI scales. I do have alot of other great carries, but i can't get my Atom out of my pocket the past 3 months 🤷‍♂️ Your the main reason i dressed up my Para 3

That other vid you did on your para 3 gave me an itch to mod my stuff. I still dont have a Para3, but I got a Para 2 and a Manix. Do freakin love Spyderco though!

Sorry, I hate your p3, but it's yours and gives you what you want from it, and that's cool. I only switched the clip for a more elegant Lynch one and it's the ideal knife. Shoutout to cpm s45vn tho, it's seriously underrated and in the top 5% of all current blade steels for edge retention.

I had 2 & kept 1. I prefer the sage 5 handle. My pinky falls off the end of the para 3 but it’s a good knife. PM2 is better but still good

That's one of the things I really like about the retention ring, it makes the handle a bit longer for a perfect grip(for me)

Man...I have a manix 2, Sage 1, Sage 5, and a Para 3...all modded with scales and jazz......and the para 3 is by far my least favorite and boreline hated haha...

Pretty sure I explained the why..but if you missed it Ira because with a wace it allows you to quickly pull it already deployed from the pocket while I'm a secured grip..but I'm sure you're just over there puking because you can't see why that would be useful😂
