I was today years old when I learned I can block on-hits. I ALWAYS forget my armor even exists. This video was hugely helpful!

It was the most common thing I noticed at my LGS so I knew other people had to be forgetting. Eventually you'll get there! Just takes time and practice 🙂

As someone who enjoys playing with items I find it funny when my opponent is confused why I didnt block with my entire hand on turn 1. Next turn, oh, an item.

Great video, I’ve been playing for a month now and I make these mistakes all the time. I am conscious of them, but when I’m playing I forget all the time 😅 The third point I do all the time, either talishar or felt table I’m alway practicing and it does show when I’m sitting in front of my opponent.

Noob here. Thankyou so much for these kinds of video. I'm an experienced gamer, and have played some MtG, Hearthstone, Solforge, L5R & Runeterra in the past. I thought I might try a dueling TCG again and FaB is popular at my FLGS but it just doesn't FEEL right. Like so different to every other card game. Like I'm constantly under pressure, never being able to pull off combos, never have enough cards/mana, an uphill struggle. So vids like these are what I need. Keep doing them!

FaB can be a little difficult to truly grasp as it's a very deep game and is VERY different from other TCGs. I also imagine that a lot of people at your LGS have been playing for awhile and so it can be a bit daunting. But you'll get there! It took me quite a long time to start truly getting somewhat decent at this game, so it can be done!

yup, ignoring on hit effects when you could have blocked with your equipment was a big one for me :D

I've seen it a lot and honestly I wouldn't have won so easy with Prism if people were remembering to block those Herald of Eruditions. Although to be fair, for the first couple games I always remind/suggest blocking, but after a few games it's up to the opponent to remember

I agree that first time you should block but in blitz I have taken the dmg because I had the god hand and keep the dmg and stripped the opponents hand and brought them down to like 5 and then finished the game turn 2.

If you've got the God Hand, that's a perfectly acceptable reason to not block! If you can basically kill them then yeah, taking the hit makes sense

I had a match oldhim vs viserai... Where the oldhim on turn 1 blocked with his stalagmite. I was going first... I mean he would just draw up again. He saved himself from 4 Rosetta damage yes.... But it was needless, he saved a hand that was mediocre.

@@Sloopdoop I think the worst part of it was that my deck is made to do consistent damage every turn... He didn't even block out the mauv + deathly duett.... I had enough resources to still swing the Rosetta after and apply 6 runechant damage to him. Ontop of Rosetta.... I felt bad because he kept winters wailing me without a frost token....

My fab crew hooked me up with a lot of key cards for basic trades and just cuz they are super nice. Get yourself into an armory, make friends and I am sure they'll help you out.
