Being born in 1952, I LOVE vintage!!! The memories of decorating, going to church, family get-togethers are the best memories and tinsel, icicles for putting on the trees and our ornaments just like the ones that you put on that wreath. Please do more!

I was a lil later 1960 and love the vintage look. We were taught to care for our things even decorations so we had the same ones year after year some inherited from grandparents. To this day I have among others some of those plastic decorations from the early 1970s that look similar to the crepe paper twisted on a pencil eraser to make things esp maps in school

I love vintage! I used Rick Rack around rectangles cut from Christmas cards to make tree ornaments! My grandmother made small cones from paper with handles, like little baskets to hold little surprises and wrapped candles. Her trees looked like little elves and fairies decorated them! Blessed and safe days!

Sandy to Sandie, also simply love the glitter, tinsel and especially the fairy lights. To this day I have a synthetic small fir tree, actually a plant for the home, looks so real. This little tree has its string of battery operated lights draped all around it, and most nights during the year, it would be switched on. Really so pretty. Who said there cannot be a speck of Christmas all year round.

I love vintage- retro, l thought l wasn't going to like the candle but it turned out so sweet and my favorite today. The wreath was a little much but l do remember the shiny ornaments. I remember a silver tree with a round spinning little at the base of the tree. Changing from red, blue, green and yellow. My dad love the tree he was allergic to ever green trees so he was so happy when the silver trees came out,. Lol.. at the time my Mother, brother and l didn't like them much. My younger sisters thought that was the only kind of Christmas trees there was for many years. I also remember the the little clip santa so sweet. Your project do bring back memories for sweeter, simpler times and hadn't thought of them in a long time. Thank you

Love retro. Reminds me of my childhood Christmases. We always had a Douglas fir with big light bulbs (red, blue, yellow, green and orange) and big, shiny, glittery ornaments along with homemade decorations and lots and lots of tinsel and icicles! Mom would bake all month long...cookies, beer bread, date nut bread, Tupperware and Christmas tins filled with all kinds of goodies. Thanks for the sweet memories. 🎄

These projects really evoke childhood memories for me. We had bubble lights on our Christmas tree as well as the kind that you put on your wreath. The silver pick that you put on the wreath reminds me of Christmas corsages. Every year we got a new corsage to put on our coat to wear throughout the Christmas season. They were normally purchased at the dime store. Am I old or what? Lol 🙂🌲🎅

Hi from the Wild n Wonderful Hills of West Virginia. I am 71 and crying...you brought back soooooo many awesome memories of my holidays with my parents with my family. My Mom went all out for Christmas, in every area...food house, presents for others as well as family and cards! She was the glue that held everything together thru thick n thin. My favorite was the candelabra bc I still have one. I am going to dig it out and use it. I had the first book that you showed. I do not know what happened to it but it was my favorite Christmas book. No one was allowed to have it. Lol Thank you soooooo much. Please dnt stop on doing the retro decore. Maybe you could find some Easter retro. That was another big holiday in our home. Thank you again and many many Blessings to you and your family. Huggzz and Many Prayers!!! ❤🌲🍗☃️⛄❄🎄🎁

Brandy, I was born in the 50"s so I really enjoyed these projects! I really liked all of them but the candleabra really stood out to me. My family all came together for the holidays which I only had 2 sisters alot older than me. My Dad passed away when I was 14 & my Mom when i was 30 then my oldest sister passed about 4 years ago, so appreciate things that bring back memories from my childhood! I lost my husband in 2003 so I was a fairly young widow. I have 2 children which I rarely see. i live alone with my 3 girls (dogs) but they they are my little family that keeps me going. Now you know my history!...lol. TFS...I love watching your videos! 🤗💕💕

My style for most holidays includes vintage/retro...my tree is all vintage! I think I have all the stuff for these in my stash-I look all year for vintage goodies to craft with. I've actually made a candelabra, similar to yours, for a vintagey Alabama friend. Time to do one for myself! Keep up the vintage-I like farmhouse but my holiday heart belongs in the past( that includes Valentine's,St Pats,Easter,Halloween Thanksgiving-getting ready to pull out all my vintage turkey salt and peppers, planters etc and Patriotic!)

Just found the candle sets from Grandmother's on Saturday. I love vintage. Have collected old ornaments and decorations for years now. Just downsizing & concerned about where I will be putting all of my decorations. Love these projects. Using the pages of the books was inspirational. Hope I can find the house frames.

I love the retro stuff ! I grew up in the 60’s . I’m doing my house in rustic retro this year. When you live in the Black Hills of SD you have to go rustic so I just decided to retro it up! Love everything you create !

I adore vintage AND Victorian.. I’m doing Victorian this year. I loved the Candelabra! I would have fancied up the pics with snow and all kinds of stuff! We had a silver tree with the spinner wheel.. and tons of oooold ornaments from my moms childhood, she was born in 1917! I was born in 1960! I think the candelabra was my favorite of these projects! ♥️

I loved all of these. While I won't be doing this style, (I'm stuck right now with victorian Christmas), I will be watching every one of these retro videos. The memories these bring back. My grandmother's whole house was decorated from the 1950's, and that included all of her Christmas. She even had a retro 10 foot tall tinsel tree. Only it wasn't retro to her, and to the rest of the world, it was outdated and needed to be replaced. The thing was humongous. My mother had grown up with that as their tree. My guess is, considering it's size, that my grandparents paid a pretty penny for it. As a little kid, it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. My grandmother's decorations were so bright and snowy and sparkly. My mom decorated as they did in the 70's, which was more natural. So going to my grandma's house for Christmas dinner was a magical thing for me and my sisters. These decorations bring back so many memories. Tacky or not, I love them.
