I live in Auburn, CA... which is like, 10-15 miles from Cool, CA... Cool and Forest Hil (the town like directly next to cool) is a known Hotspot for tweekers and just some crazy-ass people... You just have to be careful about where your planning to camp... or maybe even, if you know a local person that lives around there, ask where a good spot is. Over-all, The whole area is BEAUTIFUL 😍 and a GREAT area to live in but just be cautious, like you should be with anywhere.

I was thinking the same. You're always supposed to put broken glass is a sealed box so it doesn't rip the bag. And if it was taped shut it would have been more obvious that kids took the glass out of the trash.

Early stages? IF a child acted like this you don't think there would have been signs leading up to this. Since glass isn't a regular part of a persons diet, wouldn't you think they would know that this could kill a person? That story is bogus, someone would have seen this in a child's behavior long before it came to this. This is 2 kids behaving like this which doubles the chances of others getting involved. Don't believe this nonsense.

That babysitting story reminds me of two kids I used to babysit. They have since grown up to be intelligent and powerful people (maybe sociopaths to an extent, who knows?) but... they were so conniving and serious it was creepy. They responded to my natural condescendence based on their ages ( I starting sitting when they were 2 and 4) with such adult and menacing attitudes it was frightening.

I wonder how many kids are this way. When I was young, I babysat 3 kids-2 boys & a girl, all between 6-9 years old. Had a few odd experiences with them, but one day the girl told me her brother needed me in the back yard. I opened the door to a double-barrel shotgun. "I'm gonna kill you." I finally got him to give me the gun. They thought it was hilarious. The mom apologized, but the dad didn't get why I was so pissed. Never sat for them again. I was young & didn't even know what cps was at that point, or I probably would've turned them in. People are crazy.

@@gabriallefleming7611that is terrifying. There are so many gun "accidents" from kids playing around with guns because most of them don't understand the permanence of death. ETA: glad you made it out safely. I babysat multiple primary school aged boys who mostly played video games and occasionally got quite muddy in a neighborhood swail.
