This may sound corny but whatever I don't care. So my sister has very severe autism, and she never talks or anything. She usually stays quiet or draws. A few months ago I showed her a Markiplier video, and she really liked it so I showed her some more. She likes his sense of humor and his deep voice. She's been watching all of them ever since. She was really happy when he uploaded today, so keep up the good work Markiplier! 👍

The Darkness Dwells reminds me of a story I heard. I forgot from where I heard it but it was a scary story. That in a family there was a little girl that was very scared of what she claimed to be monsters coming for her at night. She'd wake up in the middle of the night screaming and distressed. Whenever that happened, her parents checked on her to see there was nothing wrong but her being in distress. Out of love, they let her sleep in their bed several nights, as they believed she was only having nightmares. Eventually the dad got annoyed with their daughter constantly sleeping with them every night. One night after tucking her in bed, he told her she had to be a big girl now, that it's her imagination, no monsters. She didn't like that respond, but what can a kid do to argue if their parents don't believe them about monsters? She had to sleep in her own bedroom again. After he put her to bed, he locked her bedroom or jammed a chair under the knob so it couldn't be opened and he went to bed with his wife. The family slept that night until the frightened screams of their young daughter woke them up. It was still night when she was screaming out of horror and fear. I think eventually the noise died down, and the parents drifted back to sleep. They woke up the next morning and went to their daughter's bedroom, only to find she was missing with no traces of what happened or something like that. That's what I remember of the story. I think there was a part during the screaming she tried to escape through her blocked bedroom door only to find it's been locked or jammed closed. So she couldn't run to her parents' room like the previous nights to save her from the monsters that were coming for her each night. I'm positive it's a scary story, not a real story that really happened to a family. Cause every kid complains about monsters when they are so young and love the protection of sleeping alongside their parents to keep the monsters away, and as far as know every human had survived childhood through those fears. Sadly, I don't remember how it ended other than the girl was missing mysteriously. Like there's no way she had escaped her bedroom that night, and I can't remember if there was any saying if there was nothing or if there was any trace that something did happen. Like if the monsters were real and had succeeded in kidnapping her that night she was stuck in her bedroom or not. But it was very spooky story. If anyone kinda recognizes the description of the story I gave please, let me know the name of it cause it's clear I forgotten it. Please be kind to me, I know this comment is long but I couldn't make a short comment with everything I had to say. And even if anyone can't recognize the story I kinda retold above, then at least you got to read a spooky story kinda. Please be kind. I felt like making this comment cause Darkness Dwells game kind of reminded me of that story I can't name yet sort of retold poorly.

So I only recently started watching and going through the Scary Games Playlist, so please excuse the 3 years too late comment. At 10:04, the newspaper that shows the headline of the missing girl. Maybe it's just because I lived in Central Florida during the disappearance and trial of the Caylee Anthony murder, but I recognized her IMMEDIATELY. 17:00 I had the same problem when I played the Aquanos challenge on Dungeon Defenders on my Xbox 360. In which I've defeated the Crystalline Dimension and the Old One on easy mode and it was hard doing it all by myself, being rushed is not a good thing. It was very self rewarding.
