Hey Mum! Please forgive my late reply I didn't mean to leave you hanging for so long been such a buzzy busy bee! Yes we did meet online but it wasn't something that was planned. Funnily enough the first thing I actually asked her was some advice about another girl that I liked at the time and I was asking her opinion on poems that I would write before I sent them to this other girl. Unbeknown to me instead of separating her emotions and keeping level headed she was really liking the poems herself and started to develop feelings for me and as it turns out she told me (much later on) that I was the boy she had always wanted to meet when she was a little girl who would write poems and be romantic and stuff like that. In the end me the other girl didn't work out but in the my other friend was becoming VERY attached to me but I thought we were just good friends but she was falling for me big time! One day she said to me "I can't take this anymore, I think about you all the time and every time you talk about this other girl It just hurts and I know I was supposed to be helping you but now I have to console myself with the fact that I will one day lose you forever" to which my reaction was like " oh ..... I honestly didn't know you felt that way". I really liked this other girl but I took my friends words on board and then it seems that fate played a major part in my future and her's because we both ended up together after that and that was back in 2007 and we're still married! I know exactly what you mean about crazy scary and exciting. That's exactly how I felt when I uprooted and moved 300+ miles! Just think though hopefully soon you will be able to meet up ( if you haven't already) and that will be the start of a great adventure and also the next chapter of your life. This whole covid thing has been a real pain and I hope you do get to meet and everything works out for you. If he's already said he will move to your home town it sounds like he's a keeper! I think I'm developing pretty bad anxiety because of this. I'm always waiting around for him to answer messages or have time to call (he has a lot on his plate at the moment and I'm trying to be patient), and he's not very good at keeping deals we've made or letting me know what's going on. I feel ignored and having low priority. I love him but this is crushing me, draining my energy so I'm unable to do much.

My girlfriend is in Australia, we met abroad on a ski season but we were working for different companies, so got separated due to the repatriation flights. She had to go back to Australia, so it’s tough but bearable atm.
