Is it God's voice, my own thoughts, or the enemy? How can I know that what I'm hearing is the voice of God? I'm sure we've all likely been there -- wanting to do what God is calling us to do but just not entirely certain WHAT that is! It's an amazing reminder to us all how individual and unique God speaks to us, so let us know in the comments! for me: God's voice is quiet. Hearing from God for me, most times, requires a certain amount of stillness and sitting at His feet -- silently lol.

there's organization of people who get together to stalk and harass individuals all day. I'm one of those people. This stalking and harassing has been going on for years. At this point in my life, theyre so desperate for any reaction the moment i get out of bed they start bombarding me with covert/passive-aggressive harassment tactics. For example, the moment i get out of bed they'll start causing the fridge(yes the fridge) to make these tapping/clicking noises. And whenever i finally eat, the fridge would stop making those noises. They'll remotely taunt me in this manner for hours. Along with tenants illegally watching me to know when i'm done doing something to slam car door, or resort to some type of vehicle noise instantly after. The more i ignore their obnoxious behaviors the more noticeable they get. I mean you sense this desperation from these demonic narcissist trying harder to provoke any negative reaction. They literally use numerous different strangers to poke at me constantly. If you're a targeted individual you'll truly relate. His voice is quiet but final. I can't fully explain it. When He says something it pierces your soul and hits your spirit. I've struggled with this for so long and recently He has been helping me alot. His voice has become recognisable by His wonderful grace.❤️

Yes! This is how he speaks to me❤ and I’m just now starting to read the Bible and I could be going through a situation and in desperate help of the Lord. And a verse pops up in my head that I have never heard before or read before. And it makes so much sense. It brings peace. God is so loving!! It actually happened like an hour ago😂

Bible Bible and more Bible, sometimes when I pray, I'd feel some cool air and I'd sometimes wonder if that was God(The holy spirit) and today he pointed me to Genesis 3:8 "When the cool evening breeze were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the Garden......" when I read that part I just threw my hands on my head and Thanked God for this revelation because also I didn't feel fear but It was just."weird" 😅but yah God is Alive and Living

I’m so glad you stated this!! I am blown away because I’ve experienced this plenty of times in my room and would look around like maybe I’m exaggerating. I would always feel peace immediately after the breeze. I’ve even seen my curtains move before and my ceiling fan no air was on..He’s absolutely AMAZING 🥹😍👏🏽

I have always thought the voice of God sounds more grandfatherly. Wise, patient, calm, gentle, caring, warm, loving, soft spoken, few words but clear meaning. I often get a sense that God is saying to me something along the lines of you really shouldn't have done that but I still love you.

Sometimes I feel like I just got a clear message from God to do something. So I start to do it. And then when it gets difficult, I tell myself it was my own mind that told me to do it, not God. Then I stop doing what I was supposed to do. Then I feel like such a failure.

I would describe God's voice as fatherly. He can speak in loving and supportive ways, and in ways that can convict our behavior and thoughts. But mostly He wants to be heard and to hear us -- to be in relationship with us! 🙌🏾

The Lord’s voice is ENCOURAGING. PATIENT. COMFORTING. LOVING. PEACEFUL. RIGHTEOUS. GUIDING… I could go on, as there are so many one words I could share. This is clearly my message for the week, knowing the voice of God is within me. It was revealed to me about two days ago, I shared the same understanding with my sister last night, and she herself has been noticing when it’s actually God’s voice. **PERSISTENT** God's word is soft, but meaningful. He speaks to me in pieces, like a puzzle, cuz I like such games. And I appreciate that, it allows me to focus; renewing my life one category at a time. The message that God sends me is holistic. I feel called toward a standard, ethic and philosophy of Divine Love. If ever His word is loud, I presume that I am meant to really pause and dissect the directions that I am in resistance of; for obedience truly molds my free spirit into a purposeful soul.

Gods voice..can be very reassuring and loving..yet his voice can also stop me in my tracks..it can also have weight. In my time of worship and prayer he gives me songs, I enjoy singing to him. I really thought maybe I wasn't His child bc I couldn't hear Him. One day sitting outside I heard Him singing Sheep in the pasture. I asked is that you? He said yes my child. And He said I am the good shepherd! Wow He was singing in such a loving even joking and teasing way...like when I was asking Him He kept on when it made me.giggle he kept singing! It was amazing. I want to hear that clearly again...but im thankful I heard that even once...I mean He is GOD of the universe!!! How amazing is that!! God spoke to me three times…the first time I didn’t know it was Him until He fulfilled the prophecy three weeks later. The second time it was while I was crying out to Him in the night and He firmly spoke to my heart. Then, He spoke a third time a couple months later regarding my husband. All three words were consistent and part of the process and season I’m currently in, but because this word seemed utterly insane I began to wonder if this was indeed the Lord. Being a Bible College graduate, I knew the ONLY way for me to know is by me POURING into His Word to hear His voice. I had not read His Word with consistency since I married my husband 14 years ago and it had been a heart cry of mine for God to bring me back into that discipline. I’m here to say that I’ve read at least 12 full books of the Bible since March and that includes Job, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Ecclesiastes, and a lot more little books. He did for me what I could not do for myself when He spoke to me. He knew what would light the fire under me! To Him be the glory! I am so excited for what He is doing ❤

Like many have said, when I heard God's voice, it was so gentle, so calming. Even though I was a total wreck just seeking answers from Him and He really came through. Even though what He told me wasn't what I was expecting, I knew that I could trust that He would provide for me in this season. I was already crying when I was seeking Him, soon as I heard His gentle response, I cried even more because so much peace just flooded me. I felt like someone took a back pack of rocks off my back.

This was on time for me I know God has been speaking to me he has also heard my prayers. We are in communication the lines are open. I hear him and he hears me. And he has been all in my business. I’m so honored to be his daughter.

The word I would use to describe God's Voice would be Precise. How our Faith continues to grow in the accuracy of His will being fulfilled, is so precise. He is a man that shall not lie. :) the joy in that is unexplainable.

It was the first time I heard his word through his words, he gave me a verse in the Bible, the voice came twice as the first time I did not wake up and the second time I heard the voice giving me the same verse to read. Later I woke up and read the verse... With my situation then reading the verse God was clearly talking and directing me what to do...

I’ll hear a whisper cut me off in the middle of my thoughts, sometimes it gets confusing between my voice and the enemy’s voice. So God will talk to me through outside conversations, tv shows, songs that pop in my head sometimes a loud and or gentle voice whenever I’m about to do something unhelpful.

I hear God as an intuitive inner knowing that gives me gentle correction, peace, joy, and clear direction. He literally guides my steps. I learned about you because He led me here and that’s honestly how it works with me. It’s one of the most remarkable experiences and I sincerely believe that it will only get better as I grow/build my relationship with Him. I literally have moments where it feels like he’s giving me warm, spiritual hugs. I feel blessed and loved. It’s so worth it to know Him. I’m in a season of my life where it’s all about Him. I’m grateful to serve. I just want to do what He wants me to, whatever His will is for my life and I’m so content in that. 💚 P.S. There use to be days where my life seemed so hard to me that I wanted to just lay down and die. Now all I want to do is live and I truly want everyone to know Christ and fight for their right to live an amazing life that Jesus died to give them. 💯🙏🏽🙌🏽
