Can you clarify please..did you say we could use the clear sheet off of the htv instead of using their mask? We recommend washing with care but the EasySubli lasts through 20 washes or more (that's what number we are at 🙂) - Dawn

Thanks for the tips! I’ve been using starcraft htv but have you ever used it? How does it compare to easy subli? And as far as washing goes do you have any tips on avoiding the fade of colors? I’ve seen another video where someone “cured” the htv before pressing it. Is that really necessary?

I have not tried Starcraft HTV just yet I have some on hand so I will know more soon. I don't have any issues with fading and the curing is unnecessary 😁 hope this helps

Do you have any tips for getting the Subli to load into the printer? I have an ET2800 and it feeds from the back/top (not a tray feed) and the printer can't seem to grab it. I have tried putting a piece of tape on the back, so it has some traction to grab it but to no avail. Thanks

If you guys are wondering about the mask I think there's a cheaper roll that they sell at heat preston. I remember I purchased it a while ago for some HTV Vinyl that had Designs on the vine of that you had to use a mask the same Process as siser subli. So maybe it's cheaper to get the roll and not the sheets .

It is not, the easy subli masking is different as it has more strength to it.

Hello great video.i'm running into some problems I just bought the Siser subli. I a printed on my first design on my sawgrass. I use the print and cut on my Cricket. So the problem that i'm having is that I printed out my design And I hovered it under my heat press. In another video that you have you mentioned it at what temperature and how many seconds to have it under the heat press. So I did .I even left it to dry for the next day . Well the next day I tried It seemed that the ink was still wet and it's Smudged. I had 2 images one that I used with the mask and the other 1 I did not use a mask. The one that had the mask that once smudged. Do you know what could have been the problem why the ink did not dry? The heat presse was at the correct temperature and I left it hovering for about a minutes sometimes little longer

What type of printer are you using and your settings? You may have to let the ink dry a few minutes before. If you go into Print Manager in SawGrass, make sure you are adjusting the type of material you are using so it prints with the correct amount of ink - Dawn

I'm confused. We can print with sub. Ink directly on the easysubli vinyl? I thought we needed to print on the sub paper then onto the easysubli? Also will the ink mess up my Cricut ?

I print onto the easy subli with no issue and my cicut doesn't mess up the print when it cuts. I try my best not to squeegee too much because it takes off the ink and makes the print duller.

@@danielletapley6191 hi!! I know this was a while ago! How is it going with printing on East subli? I’ve been doing it for months and still not sure I like it. My colors are not very vibrant. When I cut with the cricut I get the lines. I know it’s because my ink isn’t dry. That’s whole other topic lol. If I go longer then the 60 seconds to dry it heats my image up and then I can’t weed. Have you found any good tricks?

It depends most printable HTV is designed to use with inkjet ink and this is designed for sublimation Ink . They are two very different inks

I tried cutting a design on my Silhouette but the registration failed twice. Have you ever had this problem? I ended up having to cut around the design by hand with scissors.

I would checking the lighting in your area. Sometimes if it is too bright your machine will not read the registration marks.

You can find EasySubli from many different crafting vendors. You do get Silhouette Studio basic for free, you can download it from their website without having a machine. EasySubli is best used if you want to use a cotton shirt since you cannot sublimate on it. Or if you are wanting a design on a black shirt, since you cannot sublimate on black.

My cricut doesn't cut the image correctly, am I doing something wrong?

Hi there! Is it cutting off of the lines? It sounds like you may need to recalibrate your machine! - Dawn

@Design Bundles HI, thank you for your fast reply. It was cutting off center and cutting off the lines. I almost gave up with the print and cut. I found another video on calibrating, and I did it about an hour ago. It seems to work. Thank goodness! I dont have a permanent spot for my cricut, so I'm constantly putting it away and bringing it back out, so I'm sure that's why my calibration was totally out of wack. The cuts are not perfect, but so much better.
