Hi how true is that right now ECE employers would prefer not to hire under AEWV arrangement as it is expensive and adds even more to the compliance burden?

They prefer to hire locals. But if they can't find one, that's when they resort to hiring from overseas.

Hi! I will apply for the zero fee qualification assessment this 29th. I'm here in Japan now as an English teacher, but I was also a DepEd Senior High School teacher in the Philippines. Do you think it's possible for me to get hired before June 2024? This is because I found out about the relocation grant that the New Zealand government will provide if I get a contract before June 2024. I just want to know your opinion, kabayan. @@GrowYourselfinNewZealand Unfortunately, few hours after the reopening of the zero fee applications, again, all slots were filled. That was last Monday, January 29th. It will reopen this 26th. Any tips po? Kinda hopeless na po na makapagpa-free IQA sa dami ng naga-apply 🥲

I’m applying now for AEWV in the qualification section my visa token stated Level 7 however I only got Level 6 from my NZQA. I received my Teaching Provisional Certificate through Discretionary Pathway. Should I follow the Level 7 stated in my Visa token or should I put Level6 which is the results of my NZQA since I have to upload evidence of my assessment result.? Thank you. I hope you could clear my doubts in this section

@@irfankhan-1985 I found a job through a combination of networking and diligent job searching. With regards to your question, I am not in the position nor the knowledge to answer, Just refer to the NZQA and teaching council website.

@femaleAlpha101 POV. You should enter L6 as that is your NZQA level. But for more clarification, please contact immigrationnz or a lawyer to assist you.

No age limit for a teaching position. However, if coming from outside of NZ, immigration requires below 55 (I think). Please check the immigration website.
