@@whoshatwat I think employing a bit of brain power would be good here. If you scrape metal on wood it will scratch the wood. You see the metal (usually steel) is a much harder substance.

@@ryancapewell6504 I’ve always used the back of a lino knife to tuck, but a lot of fitters use a stair tool like here, it’s all about the angle which you might not understand. What do you use?

No metal on woog will scratch it. Use a plastic wheel war roller. And for that matter a wall trimmer and a goddamn power stretcher @@whoshatwat

Trimmers are shite!!! By the time you’ve set it to the correct height I’ve trimmed the whole room in because I’m highly skilled. I’ve worked with Americunts and I fit quicker, neater, tighter and overall a lot more pleasantly. I also get more tips than them.

And I’ll stretch it and cut off carpet from the knee kicker supposedly “stretching” it. Come on man it goes against logic and physics

You didn't stretch anything, you kicked it in, that's called a kicker. Use the right tool for the right application. You don't have enough stretch in your carpet. If your on concrete, bring your poles out. Thank you for showing us all how to do it wrong

@@regjoe23rd professionally for 4 years. I was taught by 3 guys who installed for 30 years, so yes, I know what im talking about. Knee kicking carpet does NOT stretch the carpet enough to keep it tight longer then 3 months. Carpet stretchers are designed to "power stretch" and keep carpet tight for 10 years+
