Clay, I was wondering what your opinion is of staying friends whilst trying to get your ex back? Other coaches on here seem to be against it. My ex of 4 years broke up with me in February, and after a week I did no contact for about 3 weeks. We had a deep phone conversation for 4 hours and decided we will try again in the future. However, he still wants his space to look after himself after we lived together 24/7 during the pandemic. We concluded that we looked after one another so much that we forgot about self care. We've both promised not to date anyone else whilst we're on this little break. But, understandably, he says he has no idea when he will be ready to start over again. At the moment were going on days out together once a week. He says it's so we can slowly get back together, but I'm scared he will get comfortable with the friendship and I'll be friendzoned forever 😞

I don’t think my ex will ever miss me.. he went back to his ex wife who he said was toxic, manipulative, abusive and a narcissist. She bad mouthed me and our baby, interfered in our whole relationship. He left unexpectedly 6 months ago with no reason as to why.. we were great one day and the next he was telling me I had to find somewhere else for me, our baby and my kids to live. He has only started making any effort to be in our sons life in the last 3 weeks. I’m so heart broken 😭💔

I offer her my 100% genuine love, mental stability, years of devotion and ability to resolve conflict. She offers throwing in the towel vs fixing our relationship that she claims to have loved me for many moons! Even her rebound stalked me & told me she’s loved me forever!! Yet …. She won’t return. She says I didn’t prioritize her. I spent 5/7 days a week with her & other than my dogs she was everything to me.
