Here is a video about how to do a 3 Strand Infinity or DNA Braid. There are 2 ways to make a DNA braid (the other method is a 3 Strand Fishtail). They look similar because they both "spiral" or twist.
For this braid, I used mousse on my daughter's wet hair before starting. I did this to help the braid hold better and to help with flyaways. The most important tip I can give you about this braid is to make sure when you begin that the middle section is thinner than the Left and Right sections. While you do this braid, you are constantly taking sections away from the Left and Right sections to add to the "Infinity" strand so they are gradually getting thinner as you work your way down. Also, keep this braid tight and frequently "cinch" it up as you go. Have fun with this one! XOXO Erin
