Cool-As-A-Cucumber Sangria
1 English cucumber, sliced
½ honeydew melon, peeled and sliced
1 bunch mint leaves, chopped
¼ cup simple syrup
1 bottle white wine (I like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
Soda water
Just Peachy Sangria
1 cup peach puree
2-3 peaches, pitted and chopped
½ cup raspberries
½ cup raspberry liqueur
1 bunch basil leaves, chopped
¼ cup simple syrup
1 bottle sparkling wine
Soda water
Seeing Red Sangria
¼ cup pomegranate seeds
½ cup pomegranate juice (or ¼ cup pomegranate liqueur)
½ cup blueberries
½ cup strawberries, diced
½ cup blackberries
2 sprigs rosemary
¼ cup simple syrup
1 bottle red wine (I prefer pinot noir)
Soda water

oh my gosh this is going to be perfect for Christmas. I can already see my mum and I sitting under the back verandah on Christmas Day sipping the peach sangria and feeling our faces melt off in the heat (its summer where I live!)

When I make sangria, in addition to the wine, I like to include some brandy for a deeper flavor, and some triple sec (or Cognac and Cointreau if you want to be fancy).

I don't drink, but I clicked on the video anyway because the drinks looked so good I wanted to know what was in them. I'm happy I watched because I can easily see how these could be made non-alcoholic. In place of white and red wine, I'd use white and red grape juice and cut back on the simple syrup, to taste. I'll definitely try it this summer -- if summer ever gets here.

I love the raspberry one! Question Domestic Geek, do you think that instead of using the basil leaves and used mint leaves that the flavor will changed drastically? I do not think I have used basil leaves in any of my drinks, thanks!

With the pomegranate cut it in half and hold one half in your hand with the skin facing you. Get a spoon and start hitting the pomegranate and all of the seeds will come out with no mess at all. Hope that was helpful

+Tia Ly that sounds really good! it all depends on your preference, but if you use lemonade instead (if it isn't sparking), your sangria won't have that fizzy carbonation which can just feel nice on the tongue. also, if you decide to use lemonade, I would cut back on the simple syrup because you would be getting extra sugar from the lemonade.

belrae93 Hi! These will last at least overnight for sure. They may even last two days but any longer and I don't think the wine will taste any good. Keep in mind though that the sparkling wine/champagne will lose its bubbles.

I made one similar to your peach one except I used strawberries and strawberry puree with raspberries and when my freinds asked about it I just called it summer love XD I also told them to go to your channel for more XD
