Great video. When I'm started on a new medication, I always check to see if you've done a video on it. They always provide me with the needed information. Thanks for the info.

Are you talking other psych meds that can also cause vivid dreams? Talk to your psychiatric support team for advice. Follow your doctor's orders on your meds and make sure you use the safe method of taking yourself off if you decide to take yourself off. A coping method I use to deal with persistent vivid dreams is to play music at a low volume while I sleep. I play variety of music that are either calming, happy, fun, etc. anything that I enjoy and tell myself it will have a positive influence on my dreams I listen to. I set my mind frame to think music can and will have a subliminal affect on my subconscious while I sleep. And sure enough for me I'm able to subconsciously "direct" my dreams with this method. It's not 100% control, but between 50%-75% of dreaming pleasant dreams is much better than 100% random, senseless and/or bad, horrible dreams. I don't know if this will help you, but if you condition your mind into liking dreams, it could be a way to manage this side effect. Be patient and try to understand how your mind works regarding dreams and interpretations of dreams. If you can manage to turn your dreams into great, fantastic, enjoyable or even pleasurable dreams, it is quite a wonderful feeling waking up the next morning. Good luck.

Doxepin is actually more sedating at does lower than 25mgs. Below 10 mgs, it acts only as a pure anthistamine. At higher doses, it looses its affinity to block the H1receptor(histamine receptor). The more blocking of the H1 receptor, the more sedating the medication. Doxepin is the second most sedating antihistamine outside of Mirtazapine which is slightly more potent. Moreover, at higher doses, Doxepin becomes more anticholinergic, blocking acetylcholine receptors, norepinephrine, etc, and is more useful for depression.

Do liquid taper. Dissolve your clonazepam in milk . Then remove 10% . Every week. When you get to the last .2mg., remove 5% every month..

@@mariloudelosreyes2583 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Doctors do not understand protracted withdrawal. Slow taper at your own pace. Doctors will just rip you off the medication and it can really ruin your life if you don't come off at your own pace. Dr. Josef channel has great info.

i went to a rehab and suffered insomnia, and they prescribed me this and serequel

@livelenaluv Be careful with Seroquel. I was on it for over 7 years and now have a very stubborn (hard to manage) fatty liver. Even the 1st year of usage I developed high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels. I stopped Seroquel about 6 years ago because my liver was just a wreck (consistent abnormal blood testing results). Of course I would tell you to follow your doctor's advise over mine, but at least keep an eye on your liver. Request regular liver/metabolic panel blood tests and do more research on this medication. Many people I know who were on Seroquel have and/or developed fatty livers. There are other problems with this medication too. Good luck to you.
