I only care about the strategy even in the game. I don't mind the ultimate team aspect though, they just destroyed the quality of the product my making it monetization to win.

Metas in games have completely ruined crearivity in competitive video games. Everyone uses the exact same character/team, the exact same strats/playbooks, the exact same combos, the exact same EVERYTHING. Also: Fuck Madden Ultimate Team.

I know the “pros” might disagree but when I was a kid and we had big tourneys at houses, the team you picked is the playbook you use, I know these “pros” probably never even felt a real football before but that’s how the world is

I agree, but some playbooks are just way better than others. Typically I like to run an offensive playbook that I think would fit with the offense I’m using, but I’ll use the assigned defensive playbook because I know that it’s made to fit the defense’s strengths

I like Saints playbook too on offense but I play franchise so I don't know what an alternate 46 playbook is. I just use regular 46 and it works very well. Good run and pass defense with the best nickel and dime sets.

So pretty much, these guys can't pay without suping up their teams with hall of fame players, boosted attributes and glitch plays! All of them are trash, exploring nobody. Make them play with Regs, no custom playbook, added attributes with the regular roster and then show your skills.

It’s MUT y’all play with created teams which takes no skill. Play a regs tournament and see how far y’all make it. I’ve ran with only the Jags since Madden 22 and I’ve beat players in the Top 100, and y’all spam blitz 90% of the game which also takes no skill.

Madden champions are trash and so are their players !!!! Dudes be running 5 plays all game talking about they good !!!! When I was playing it wasn’t no super teams or cards to make players play better….it was just regular teams versus each other….that’s football !!! Not ultimate team !!!
