Saw the kids running and left a note on my door explaining that i needed sleep after my ER shifts. They’ve never done it again. Pretty simple.

my brother used to do ding dong ditch after school each time after picking me up.He used to do it every day since school started,then one day my brother went to the door step to ring the doorbell, a man opened the door as soon as he rang it(I think he was expecting us by now) and started to chase us and yell bad words at us with a knife, we started running as fast as we could and so we went into an alleyway and we lost him, but we didn't stop running until we got home we never told our mom because we would obviously get in trouble we never went ding dong ditching at that house again or at any house ever again.

One time someone was trying to break into our house, so my dad put on a clown mask, and grabbed the biggest kitchen knife we had. Then my dad proceeded to stare at him through our big glass porch door. My dad being 6ft 3inches, and pretty buff as he was a brick later for many years, scared off whoever was trying to break in.

I actually did this with my friends once and it went well for most of it until we started to get to the more depressed area of my town. A man came to the door who was clearly drunk and said "you have 5 seconds to get the hell off my property before I ventilate your cranium" me and my friends got our shit together and ran off quietly without the man noticing. to this day I have honestly never been so scared before looking back, the man's speech was fairly slurred and I honestly don't think he would have been able to do any serious harm before we ran away but still you never know

I will never forget: I fell asleep in bed lost to this and the clip played of the dude screaming “come here now”. Due to the quality and being woken up by that I thought someone was in my house yelling and it scared the shit out of me

Brooo that gave me chills dude great job for given me nightmares The ah it’s almost Halloween sooo ah haha

I was being ding dong ditched two or three times a month for over two years. It took a while, but I figured out their pattern. One night I waited in my front hallway with the lights off and the porch light on so I could see them, but they would not see me. They rang the doorbell and I got a good look at the kid. That's all I was intending to do, but I saw another kid hiding behind a bush laughing so I decided just to watch for a little longer. The kid came back up to the door and right before he rang the bell I ripped the door open and jumped at him scaring him nearly to death. They ran away for about 100 ft and started mocking the old man that answered the door so I ran out the door and chased them for about a quarter mile until they cut through someone's yard. They never rang my doorbell again, lol. The most fun I had in about a decade!

Mr. Nightmare: “With his horrific speed walking pace” Me: Screams

Me about to go to sleep: Mr Nightmare: Nope!

When I was younger me and my best friend would always ding donh ditch something bad happens to them a few years ago and the title just reminded me of them so thanks for that

7:46 At first I didn't believe it, the camera quality was questionable and lighting wasnt great; but when you slow down to the footage to .25 you can tell that he has the gun in his right hand (hence why his arm isnt swinging in the manner a normal sprint would be)
