Also I personally think auto wall climb (shimada's and kiriko) makes climbing so much easier than the default hold jump. Might just be me

I main mercy and here's another one thats not in the video and is actually quite helpful. When you're using Mercy's angelic descent, you can make your hitbox smaller by rapidly tapping the button instead of holding it. Rapidly tapping it prevents the wings from opening up, which have hurtboxes attached to them. You also fall at the same speed as you would if you were just holding the button, so if you can get used to doing it, it's quite helpful.

i think hurtboxes is the term for what hurts (projectiles) and hitboxes to what gets hurt edit: disregard this comment, @chekerz has already clarified my confusion

@@KynneloVyskenon you have it backwards. Hitboxes do the hitting, and hurtboxes are where you are able to be damaged

@@chekerz123456789 that might be true but tbf it's a fighting game thing, most other games use the "hitbox" term for everything so much so that you'll often hear the term "head hitbox" even though the head deals no damage

(Little Fact): In the first overwatch, the only way you could originally jump high as mercy was by crouching just before you flew to a team mate, then pressing jump just as you start to rise upwards, it was never intended to actually be in the game but was more of a player found mechanic. Its cool to see the devs take notice of that and put it in OW2

First tip is confirmed!! They added it because you had to choose whether you could still fly towards your target through a wall but only that target, or be able to fly to anyone. This new setting allows the best of both worlds!!

There’s a better way to perform the sj res. It’s a bit more complicated but you can be in anywhere as long as you are in range to fly to the soul. Press ga then look up, jump and res almost at the same time as soon as you’re about to stop flying. The timing is tight but if you knew the ow1 sj res it’ll be easier to learn.

Oh that's what that meter is. I thought itwas like... the limit on wing power. Like a fuel meter or something... like Pharah or Moira. Also... I have no goddamn idea if I can set that for console. The options are so weird. I've already figured out my best like... Ability to Firing ratio. It is so weird on controllers where they just fuckin... map the ability keys to random spots.

You do a sj and then glide where ever. While still in the air do another sj on any teamare in sight.

Do a superjump then glide where ever. While in the air do another super jump on a teamate in sight. Basically just repeat. Not recommended all the time because you can easily get sniped out the air.

Is this correct with the distance travelled? I think its not. Only what matters is perfect timing - and guardian angel meter can be misleading. In proper timing you can boost yourself upwards very high in short distances, but you must not relay only on meter.

GA, crouch, then rez in quick successiob after for short version. Then GA to target, look up and jump, and then rez in quick succession

@@Red-eu7fk probably jumping too high, so you need to use space at an angle instead so you don't go straight up and out of rez range
