Thanks...@@Back2NaturalGirls can you show how you stretched your daughter's hair? Did you use heat or african threading? Coming off of the ginger challenge at 3 months, I got a lot of growth. Unfortunately and it had nothing to do with the challenge I had split ends and so I made up my mind to just trim them. LOL well the trim ended up as a cut as the splits had travelled. I am glad I did cut them off though it would appear that all the time and growth achieved in the challenge was cut off. Now though my hair feels sooooooooooo healthy because I continue to use the recipes I learnt from you and been using with a few tweaks here and there for the past 4 months or more. I made a diy hair oil, whipped shea butter, leave in spray that I use to moisturize with every other day with my hair kept in medium twists. Now I wash in twists every 2 weeks and use a hair mask recipe that I learnt hear on your channel. I must say the ingredients are working wonders on my hair... thank you. However now, I would like a safe way to stretch my hair without causing any damage... do you have any suggestions?
@Back2NaturalGirls
@Back2NaturalGirls 2 жыл бұрын
Nadene. Oh NO sis!, I'm so sorry about the split ends but happy u took them off, that's the best solution to really bad split ends; there is no resurrecting them. I am one person who is very scared of heat damage so I only use thread to stretch, when I'm in a hurry I will use a blow dryer on cold air( I have used it only twice). I plan to flat iron the girls hair for the first time in Dec.🤞🏽

Another good recipe is to take your flaxseed gel and mix it with Wetline or EcoStyler gel. You can add whatever oils you wish. Mix these ingredients until the mixture looks like a custard. This method gives the best of both worlds using flaxseed and Wetline gel to make a hair custard.
