How beautiful, thank you for the variety of metallic options! During a live class in real life several years ago, the instructor kept reminding us to shake the Wink of Stella every few seconds to get the most sparkle, even from newer Winks. Trying to figure out your “against the grain” opposite direction painting but have a feeling it will make complete sense when trying it.

Love these. I’ve used copic’s to color my embossed images and you are correct you have to be really careful and light handed but I love the look of it. I’m definitely going to try the metallic water colors. So fun! I’ve also used the clear glitter brush pens to add shimmer to the embossed images. Thanks for sharing and I always look forward to your down to earth style of sharing. Merry Christmas

I’ve used the watercolor metallics before to enhance my embossing folders but it does take me time to color everything in. It is so beautiful. Wonderful cards Kelly.

These cards are gorgeous! You never disappoint. With my clear shimmer wink of Stella I pulled it apart and added water and really extended its life. I’m not sure how well it would work with the white

I have a box of metallic watercolors that I have not used ‘cuz I did not know how to incorporate them into my card, other than splatter. I do use the Universal Plates and I just follow the sandwich listed on the base for 3D embossing folders. Occasionally, I will have to add the shim depending on the company.
