Black holes, the mightiest objects in the whole universe, can be destroyed. Well, at least theoretically. In this video, we talk about three ways we can destroy these mighty beasts.

Antimatter would not annihilate a black a hole. It would actually increase the mass of the black hole.

@@MrMarkwill62 When matter and antimatter come together they don’t just leave the universe; they are converted into their equivalent energy in the form of photons - light. These photons cannot escape the event horizon of a black hole, of course, so they remain inside. Energy and mass are equivalent. Black holes have only three features observable outside the event horizon - mass, charge, and spin. Nothing else inside the black hole matters once inside. Mass and energy are equivalent, so antimatter falling into a black hole just adds more energy/mass. The black hole gets bigger.

Matter and antimatter colliding just converts them into energy, it doesn't erase things from existence. That is literally why people seek to harvest energy from it as the ultimate energy source. That energy is not outpacing the speed of light, and therefore doesn't escape the black hole. It doesn't destroy the black hole, it adds to the mass. The second one doesn't destroy the black holee, merely the identity us people have imprinted on the two. If you want to consider that black hole destruction, sure, but I'd prefer an answer that actually destroys the gravitational binding nature of it. The last one is the only genuine answer.

The fact that black wholes are not actually black wholes, they're jus space in space, black wholes its just a way to explain their behavior

Cold & Dark, I've heard this before, Hello Ardit & crew, this is a very good video, and the L.H.C.is a huge feat of engineering, I used to get e-mail notifications of videos and such, however, I only get these for one channel, why is that? THX 👍

We shouldn't destroy what we do not yet understand. Unless it's a threat then it's fair game.
