I also a thick, ol school hair grease or vaseline applied to wet hair would even more so keep the hair protected and lock out all that chlorine water

Hello Amber!! I loved this video! I have a quick question. After swimming, should I reapply the LOC method to my hair or just seal it in with some moisture! Thank you. :)

I would just seal it with moisture after and that’s it! :-)

Great tips, presented in a clear manner! Have you done any of this with box braids in. Started swimming regularly but i love getting braids in summer and im not sure if it would be a good Idea

Hey SamiJ I’m sorry for the delay in response! I wanted to ask CiCi specifically about Box Braids and these methods, here was her response: “. The co-wash method will definitely work for box braids they just need to make sure that they rents the conditioner out thoroughly and also that they dry their hair thoroughly before laying on it so that it does not mildew. This will work great with knotless braids in my opinion but it will make the roots revert back to its natural curl so they may need to go through with Edge control if they do not like the frizz at the roots after the shampoo.”
