Dude- nice job. It’s so great to click on a video with a topic I’m interested in, and just immediately get a clear, easily understandable explanation. You got a like from me - and I believe I just became your 100th sub! :-) Right on!!!

Just a quick note: If your Advanced Tools are on, and you are still not seeing the 'Reverse' option, check to see if your FLEX button (infinity-like symbol at the top left of your edit window screen) is on. If it is on, you won't be able to reverse. Turn it off, and it should work.

Thanks! I had a slide guitar bit that started loud and then slowly decreased in volume. The initial burst was painful but when I flipped the track around, things sounded a lot better. Weirder but better.

Thank you for this! It would have taken me an eternity to figure it out on my own. My duplicated clips would reverse if I did it the way it showed in the manual haha

you don't have to say 'we're going to talk about...' - it's in the title!

Wow, such a complicated process! I'm really having 2nd thoughts about logic - unfortunately, I already spent the money on a new computer and the program itself. The way Logic handles audio compared to Ableton is - like little league compared to the pros. It's just amauturish. Reverse, gain, pitch shift - simple realtime operations in Ableton... Logic - eats up enough time and energy that the original creative impulse is gone.
@zargflonk5 ай бұрын
Complicated? Go to the top left (region inspector), check the Reverse box and the region is reversed. If you prefer Ableton, that's fine.

@paulkern72295 ай бұрын
@@zargflonkYou're referring to me? Explain how I'm a troll. Explain how you're not, jumping into a two year old conversation. PS - after 5 full length projects, I HAVE abandoned Logic and gone back to Ableton. Issues like the one I posted about are a major reason why. It does have some nice features, but overall Logic is a clunky, kludged together piece of crap. Which is fine, use it. But don't pretend it's something that it's not.

VIEWERS: Let me save you some time. Skip to 2:57 for the simple soloution. I dont know why these tutorials involve so much b.s talk....just get to the point so we can carry on creating. Stop waffling, we dont want to hear your mix, were not interested in your opinion, just tell us how to do the thing we came here to learn.
