Those aren't purple violets. They are carnations (dianthus).

These aren’t edible flowers. Edible flowers can be eaten fresh. No need for all that prep.

LOL Don't do this with commercial grade flowers from the florist without washing them thoroughly. Get them from a garden and even then still wash them.

I called my garden center and they said they can’t sell them, it’s a specific dealer.
