3 weeks until I'll be back in Emporia for Unbound Gravel 2024. It was a great training week!

I had a good week of training capped off by my longest ride in quite a while. 110 solo miles on the bike and with the gear (most of it) that I'll be using on race day. / strava It was the first time I've ridden over 100 miles since October of 2016.
I felt really good all day. The Specialized Diverge STR was flawless and it seems like the setup is pretty good, Tailwind Nutrition was excellent, and I was able to hit the wattage targets set by Coach Kristen Legan all day and still feel great at the end. There was nothing to suggest I couldn't do another 90 or so miles so, while there is plenty left to do and the course in Kansas is less forgiving that what I rode here, I'm very much encouraged by the progress.

Mark, You sticking with the 47MM pathfinders?

I’m sticking with 47s but switching to the Tracer Pro. I think they are essentially the same tire with different tread. For riding near home, the Pathfinder is perfect with the slick center tread since I ride a lot of pavement to get to the dirt and our dirt is often hard packed. For Kansas, I like the idea of having all grippy tread so I think the Tracer makes more sense. I doubt it’s a big difference in reality but that’s where my head is at the moment.
