it's really not too hard of course at times it can be stressful but most of the time it's really straight forward and there's not much to it. But I can see why it looks that way, does sort of look like the starship enterprise inside haha

@@not2chabby728 there's just a lot going on that you need to keep track of. I'm sure once you're familiar with the job it's pretty easy, but even just the number of screens and buttons looks super overwhelming to get started on.

@@reaganharder1480 yeah at first its a lot but its not to hard after a while. Granted I've never done it at this level, I did OHL, OUA, and was a Bell Media switcher, but the concepts and equipment are all the same.

This was great! I love the behind the scenes stuff. We got to see lots of it with the NHL in its bubble, and this ain’t much different I see. So basically Corwins’s job is the social media guy. That’s super cool, I’d take your job any day!

The empty stadium reminds me of when I went to watch a Div IIB World championship tournament (Bulgaria, South Korea, Mexico, Belgium, Spain & South Africa). Other than the home team's games (and a few Korean family members who travelled with the team), it was completely empty. They didn't sell tickets - I could just come and go as I pleased and sit wherever I wanted. The best part was that the concession stand and the equipment shop were open, so I got some awesomely obscure hockey jerseys for my collection. When all this COVID stuff is over and you happen to be travelling in Europe in the springtime, you might as well check out the IIHF's website for tournaments going on - it's a lot of fun.

Good thing this year's tournament took place in Edmonton because if this tournament were to have occurred in Europe or Russia the 2021 WJHC would've been cancelled. For example, if last year tournament happened this year in the Czech Republic then for sure we wouldn't have a tournament because it would've been cancelled. So the IIHF was lucky that it so happened to be Canada's turn to host the World Jr.
