back when Lawliet was still streaming on twitch, he used this 3 wisp tower rush strat quite often when he was trying to have fun.

It is used sometimes in elf mirror, coz elf's wisps can't attack. For example, I saw that strat in the match Sonik vs Foggy several years ago at some cup.

good points, but with planting the tree I wanted it to be able to hit workers while being planted even at the cost of getting hit by guard tower

@@annoyingwarcraft3 Yea that's true, I thought that if it was just a little bit more removed it could still hit workers entering the Gold Mine, even if no longer the whole line of them moving to the Town Hall. But you won doing it and that is most important! The enemy giving up without having gold! And by the way in patch 1.35 they want to give Steam Tanks heavy armor and let them attack units, but they can't win against a Grunt according to WTii, that doesn't seem to be a good change? 😀

haha, exactly, I even had one game where humans tower rushed me and in the middle of map 3 wisps passed 3 militias, but they defended very poorly and left quickly, so was not that interesting

Probably getting a cancel on an AOW immediately should be top priority, then dealkng w 2 when you start unit productuon shoulsnt be as difficult

Either rush the opponent as well, which might end up a funny base trade. Or don't let the enemy hold the ground and hold it yourself. This includes bodyblocking space inside your base, so the enemy can't build or root there. Plus you should hold a perimeter with your own towers. Build more burrows/ziggurats close to your enemy's buildings, so they are not "out of range" like shown at 1:16 - 1:23. Build ranged units and heroes if possible. Summons and AoE are generally a good idea as well. Prioritize killing enemy's workers, not the buildings. And obviously never fast tech - you gonna need these resources, the armor on your main and the ability to restore workers. Although eventual tech is good for siege units.

I also find making your workers attack the buildings as soon as the rush starts a bad idea. You lose lots of resources while you rarely manage to destroy the building before it's finished.
