Yes you can, but I will suggest not to give JEE exam after getting into NIT because you won't be able to study both simultaneously. Either you can prepare for JEE with your 100% or you can study for your college. If you do both you won't get good score in JEE as well as College and hence you will suffer for your next 3 years of college and low grade will affect your placement too. If you think that you can crack JEE then it would be better for you to take a drop rather than taking admission in NIT.

Yes, Nishant you are right, companies like Microsoft organise a group discussion kind of thing as part of their hiring process, but since this time we had online interviews , that's why we didn't had those GDs in any company.

In IIT Guwahati generally Btech student don't go for exchange programs. Mtech and PhD students go for those options.

You can repeat 11th but before that do these things: Abhi 3 mahine bache hai 11th ke so try to give your best and thik waise padho jaisa tum soch rahe ho next year padhoge and analyze yourself ki in 3 months me tumne jo chapters padhe hai, kya tum oonke JEE levels ke questions kar paa rahe ho? Like tumhe khud se confidence aana chahiye ki yes you can crack JEE. If yes then congrats and you can repeat 11th and study as hard as possible. If no then don't waste 1 year.

EP ke students CSE ka hi padh ke CSE ke job lete hai. So In my opinion DTU CSE would be good. There placements are also good. Talk to some DTU guys if you can.

Follow what your teacher suggests you. don't ask and follow anything from yourself. 2 year is very crucial for JEE preparation, Don't waste time in multiple books and resources. Focus on one teacher for one subject and do whatever they says, nothing else.

@@thejojo59 yes IIT provides better environment for sports and other cultural facilities. Many IIT has Olympic size swimming pool. Music club at IIT has more instruments than a state-level music band. Movies club at IITs provides all instruments using that you can create an entire movie. Over all you can do anything in the IIT.

IIT is itself a motivation. There was a senior in my school. He got into IIT KGP, when he visited back to school, he was treated like a celebrity. That was the first time I came to know about IIT and I dreamed for same. The good reputation and handsome salary could be the motivation for getting into iit.

@@sachinprajapati7160 bro mujhe scholarship mili thi kota me 75% so meri tution fees 11th me 26,000 lagi thi. Yes coaching institute provides you the better environment for preparation. There are 2 years structured plans in coaching like allen, nucleus, resonance. That helps you alot and you can blindly follow that plan for getting into IIT.

@@sachinprajapati7160 basically you have to give your 100% to your jee preparation. One day lag can lower down your rank by some significant number. You can prepare by self study and online classes, but you need to be highly motivated throughout the journey, you have to create an environment where you can study 12-13 hrs a day at least. One way to do this is you can make a group with your friends who are also preparing for jee and study together.

12-13 hrs daily including classes on normal days (class-11). 13-14 hrs daily in class 12th. 14-15 hrs daily after your syllabus completion.

Online se jee crack hoga ya nahi it depend on teacher and student interaction. I can't say anything about unacademy classes where there are 500+ students in a batch and student can only talk through message. But yes nothing is impossible, if no one is mentoring you then you can mentor yourself. Right strategy and consistency can bag you a good rank in jee.

Ye to depend karega na ki question paper kaisa aaya. Like kabhi cutoff 30% bhi jati hai to kabhi 45% bhi. IIT me selection absolute marks pe nahi hota. It is relative ki top 10,000 students ko select karenge.

Do not aim for selection. Prepare for top rank, selection to ho hi jaaega.

@@Simmu132 ye online class ki problem hai ki we can not connect with the teacher. These kind of problem offline class me achche se resolve hote. Anyway, try to watch video lecture as carefully as you can, try to understand the illustration discussed in the video. Make a proper notes of it. And jab tak wo chapter chalega tab tak har roj wo notes revise karna hai and illustration wapas se lagane hai class se pahle. By doing this you will build your basic concept and by solving illustrations again and again you will develop problem solving skill of that chapter. Ooske baad sheet ke questions hone lagenge. There are multiple things Sab yaha likhan possible nhi hai. Try to ask me on instagram if needs further guidance.

cutoff is not absolute. In 2018 cutoff was 190 I guess but in 2016 it was even lower. No one knows the absolute marks because it depends on the difficulty level of paper. You should target to get a good rank. for OBC , IITG CSE, your General category rank should be nearby 2000.

@@MohanIITG I have a query how u get into cse branch coz I have seen cutoffs they are closing at air 600 for cse 😔 and is there any chance we can get a job from core branch in tech companies I mean if biomedical and science is the field so we can apply FOR IT Companies or not and there is minor degree option too am I right ?

Bro OBC naam ka kota hai, if you know. Of course you can apply for software jobs from any branch, the only thing which is required is skills. Google only find skill in their candidate not branch, not university, nothing else. if you love coding you can get best software jobs from IIT. Only 20-30 percent of companies restricts to CSE, MNC. other 70-80% opens for all branches.
