There are too many homes next to the water. There should be mangroves there. The city must make the decision to relocate the families living next to the water. Cement must be taken out and mangrove trees planted. This will save the entire city when another strong typhoon hits Tacloban.

Things happen for a reason. God wanted to renew that city by giving a typhoon.

Protect the coast with mangrove trees to avoid future typhoon devastation. Sana ni-relocate ang mga tao at hindi na nagpatayo muli ng mga bahay

Sana Naman semento ang pinagawa katulad nung marawi .. dahil ngayong si duterte na .. gaganda Yan.. Kasi halos 2billion funds galing sa Mundo tapos ang gagawing bahay madaling mabulok haha lilipat ba sila dun... Diba Hindi...

They should have not rebuilt on the coast. They should have planted mangrove trees instead.

But the main parts of the city are in the downtown area,and thats near the coast.The buildings there are concrete and thats where the main economy is(except for marasbaras).But if you mean the people,i guess ur right.

Emil De Guzman. I should have followed this up a long time ago. I wonder who are the ones investing after the storm which was manipulated and strengthened by weather modification. I agree planting mangrove trees would have been a great idea. It looks like Tacloban is quite a busy City.
