If her friend picked up the bread bag, she defiantly would feel the added weight from the soda and be even more curious about what's inside. Also the cost of bread is pretty close to the cost of the soda or even more for quality bread. So you would be still losing, the best bet drink some of the soda and spike it with some laxatives and put the top on as tight as you can so the person doesn't realize till its too late.
