You are the best teacher I have ever seen Vanessa. I have been listening your video for one week. I hope I will watch all your videos. My childhood story: there is a river near our house. I and my brother usually went go fishing there when my parents went out for work. ( they could not permission). One day I and my friends went fishing and I dropped into river. I could not swim then. One of the my friends saved my life. I was so frightened and shocked. But I never say about this my mother. ( nearly 25 years ago)

When I was 3 years old, I remember that my dog (a "brazillian vira-latas" called Dollar) pushed me into a 1 meter deep hole, just because I was on its way, and it wanted to bark with the others street dogs...I cryed a lot... Tks for rescue this memory...hahahahaha Daniel, ( Brazil)

A scary memory of my childhood is when my cousin and I were playing a game, in which one of us had to chase the other, so we were running around my house and at some time I decided to close a security door for kids to make time, the thing is that I put my finger in the lock of the door for curiosity but when I tried to remove my finger I noticed that it was stucked, and well, you can imagine what happened next, my cousin opened the door and she accidentally cut my nail. That's is a very hindsight story. (but it was really painful) Thanks Vanessa for the video, it was absolutely helpful, I learned some new useful vocabulary!

I enjoyed your stories and my best memories is when my parents bought me an ice cream for me. It was three balls of ice cream and I was very excited to eat it but when I took a first bite, I dropped it 😭 I was so sad . I can’t forget that

When I was a child, my brother and I made many messes. But one of them was terrible. One day we had gone with my mother and aunt to a doctor office. They got into the office while my brother and I had stayed at the reception, where there was a big couch. Back then I used to cutting pictures from magazines for my collection of animal pictures and then I always had a kind of blade or scissors hided in my pocket. Of course my mom didn't knew about it till that moment. I started to cut the magazines, but after we decided to cut the couch pillows for fun!!! We made many cuts on them and next we turned the pillows in order to hide the cuts, whereas my mother was coming out from the office. The problem was that we had done so many cuts that we couldn't hide them completely, so the receptionist realised the pillows and showed them to my mom!!!! I remember perfectly how my mother got shamed! Her face was too ruddy at the moment. My mother mother didn't have to pay for the damages but we were grounded for many days...kk Sorry about it's too long.... Great video! Thank you both!

Really great and funny stories from both of you Vanessa and Dan! And about my story i can remember that me and my brother saved some money secretly and we go to game zone (some places to play video games) and play there but because we were kid, we weren't allowed to go there and one our parents catch us during playing in the game zone! So after that we didn't go there for a long and we started doing that again but this time we go with our parents permission 😅and we had much fun and we were also more relax! Thanks dear teacher for your awesome lesson

Hey, it was nice to meet your husband Daniel, Vanessa! Thanks for the lesson. It was a nice bloody story of Dan's :)) If most Americans have a childhood like that, it's no wonder that Hollywood movies are full of blood and terror, haha :))) I liked you "sneaky" story, Vanessa, too! ;) I remember when I was a kid, we had a piano my mom used for teaching students. And one day, as mom was away, one of my friends, a girl, used it as a chalkboard when we were playing in school because the piano was black. So she was writing something with a chalk on it. She wiped that all off, of course, but we didn't know that the chalk had left marks on the piano surface. So, when my mom found that out, she asked, "Who did that?" because she knew I wouldn't do that, I never did that. I was afraid that she wouldn't let me play with that girl anymore - I kinda liked her :) - so I said it was me. She was very disappointed, and as a punishment she didn't let me watch TV and eat dessert for the whole week! I don't know how I didn't lose my mind!! :))) But I kept it a secret, and guess what? I made a confession only 20 years after that incident! :)))) And guess what? She said she knew it wasn't me! :)))

***** What a great story! (except the no TV, no dessert part!) I hope the little girl appreciated that you covered for her. :) That's amazing that you confessed 20 years later and that your mom knew all along! It's funny the things that kids choose to hide from their parents. Usually they're such innocent things such as opening Christmas presents or using the piano as a chalkboard. :)

When I was 5, one night my sister and I saw a ghost. It was horrible, he (the ghost) look like a tall man, but we couldn't see his face, we were in our bunkbed, the lights were turned on, however, we couldn't see her face (he was in front of us), I just remembered that his face was covered by a kind of black haze. He just was quiet, after 10-15 seconds he disappeared.
