It’s really interesting, Hangyodon hardly had any merch when I went back to Japan in late 2019. Someone asked me to get items with Hangyodon, and the shop employee seemed surprised from the request but they had maybe a pair of socks and a pen, and that’s it. (Though this was my local mall lol, and not Ginza store/Puroland etc.) Despite how long he’s been around, I really think it’s the era of Hangyodon, and he’s really popular at least in USA now? Or at least there is a lot of merch available, he even appeared in a dollar store sticker book I got recently. I am not sure where the surge in popularity is from though lol. I like the farm animal cats the most. I would say the chicken stands out. For streaming Friday night est. works well, also Saturday before noon est. Madoka would be a good option. Bulma from DBZ had a lot of iconic outfits. You sort of need the balance of a character with a lot of outfits, and fluffy/girly. I feel like sailor moon would only really work if they included their civilian clothes, since only Usagi had the fluffy fun upgrade with the wings and colors and the sailor scouts just have their normal uniforms with a heart pin. I agree with the Donald or character themed shelves. Full set worthy for that series. They’re all really cute in that style.

I have a really weird schedule,I live in the US , and work weekends on 3rd shift,and sleep in the day lol The sanrio fish guy is my favorite,but so many adorable figures, Donald the cats , and the sleeping figures
