We have actually returned to Raub because we liked it so much whe we passed it on the way up north. I believe in taking a closer second look. We again have not booked anything online, so I took a look around town to find a hotel. There were quite a few very cheap Chinese hotels but in the end they were too small for the family or had no internet. So we took this hotel which we quite liked because it has something like an old charm that comes with it. Please do come along, I want to show you.

Wow. Finally, u arrived at raub. The hotel location better than jelai.. There is sunday morning market around your hotel, u'll love it because it kinda n oldd style market.if you walk further, you will find chinese community area, kg sungai lui.neverthless,raub itself has unique characters to it. This hotel is excellent. Especially when you enter the room as if suddenly there is a happy and comfortable feeling. This is the unique thing about this hotel.

if you have time, pay a visit at Bentong to check out their famous Lemang To’Ki (glutinous rice with coconut milk cooked inside a bamboo. typically served with beef/chicken rendang) 😋

despite the worn out carpet, I think the room is lovely.. Really spacious and nice view overlooking the Raub town.. would love to stay here next time I'm visiting Raub.. tqvm for the review and have a nice stay.. btw were you trying to do a remake of "the shining" of "psycho" with your wife.. 🤣🤣

I hope Raub is not a den of robbers. Yes, my late dad had the plastic on the seats in his car for quite some time in the 70’s 😂. Imagine the squishy feeling seating on it and awful when one was sweating. I always hear of Raub but never been there. Looking forward to watch your next video of Raub!

The room looks quite spacious and have plenty of space for the kids. The view from window is an interesting one, quite panoramic. Maybe this is the best place to enjoy some 'Musang King' with your family. Enjoy your time in Raub Mr. Moonshine.

Raub in the last couple of years had been controversial in court action to dismantle illegal deforestation in its suburbs that planted many acres of Musang King durian trees in the Reserved Land Forest. Whereas, in the suburbs of Rompin quite far from Raub are the community of Orang Asli settlements known for hunting wild animals using primitive blowpipes and spears that tourists should visit them there. Hopefully, you should be on your next visit there as well.

Its nice to have double queen but room quite spacious. So u guys can move around pretty easily. U might want to try fresh durian in the farm itself. Someone could get u there.. Anyways here we alway buy or keep Thin but comfort matt so kids can sleep anywhere easily

Don't forget to eat delicious food in Raub which are: -Musang King durian - sambal hitam - asam rong - tempoyak P/s : I worked in raub for 4 years, but now in PJ 😁 missed their food so much

Sambal in Pahang is hot. Not like other state. Just be careful. Rong means fermented seeds. There are 2 types of rong. 1 Rong from the seed of rubber tree. 2. Rong from the seed of Perah tree. I prefer the rubber tree seeds...nuttier.

I am curious, youtube only pays at certain years into traveling. If a person has 1m to 2m subs, how much does youtube pays. And if you depend on just youtube revenue, isn't it unsafe as you have many mouths to feed. If you have revenue from switzerland, at least there is back up plan.

$138/ night is pretty steep, even with 10K per month salary. I have been wondering how do you survive, thanks for letting me know that you are Hemingway. That kind neat, you get to pick your on own hours, which is a lot better than any 9-5 job.

We are all watching our money in Europe with very high inflation. Extremely high energy prices. Most people are worried for this Winter. War in Ukraine is not helping. But hopefully it will not be as bad as people say. But everybody is counting the pennies.
