I really don't know either why I care - I will not try to learn Spanish once again. 😀 Maybe it is just that it reminds me of all the hours I've struggled with language learning?

Highly recommend the StoryLearning courses. I did the French one and felt pretty comfortable speaking French after only two months or so. Can't say as much for he DFNS videos but hey, you can't win them all. (Completely joking. Already donated and stoked to tune in to the livestreams.)

@@IN-pr3lw Pretty much nothing. Maybe A0.5? To be clear, it wasn't only SL-I was also reading Olly's SS books, listening to some intro podcasts-but SL felt like it laid the foundation for all of those other things to start to make sense, if that makes...sense.

It would have been cool if your video had a mini lesson for a language, so when we play it in a loop, we can learn some cool phrases. Best wishes on raising the money and coming to America!

Is there a purpose to the looping video ? I thought KZfaq counts only one view per video per viewer per day ... ? Same with the ads. Which one is true ? Otherwise, yes I already thought of rewatching some videos without adblock in order to help youtubers. Good luck with your fundraising 👍
@daysandwords
@daysandwords Жыл бұрын
Hmm, firstly I'm not entirely sure that YT DOES only count one view per person per day... there's some evidence to the contrary, but also, I'm 99% sure that it does count to the overall watch percentage. So OK, it only counts you as having viewed that video once, but it's an 8 minute video and you spend 24 minutes watching it, so that's 300% watch percentage. I can see this with my YT Shorts, which sometimes show a 102% aevrage watch.

When I read that (what you wrote), I thought you meant it was like an ongoing thing, with a few people being taken every week or something. But it was 4 people, and 2 of them died. Of course that's horrible... but it makes it statistically less likely than my having a car accident in my own city tomorrow. Also, they were in a car very near to the border which is known cartel territory. I'll be nowhere near the border (except whilst in the air).
