Don't let no one tell you he had it easy, he built the squad from the scratch with players that fit the criteria of Pep's philosophy and built one of the most dominant team's in Europe. Hopefully he extends his contract in 2023 and stays here for another couple years because I can't imagine City without Pep nowadays.

Are you joking? Pep inherited a team that was already great and successful. De Bruyne, Aguero, David Silva, Kompany, Fernandinho, Otamendi and Sterling were already at the club and winning trophies before Pep arrived. They formed the core of his team for the next four or five years. Joe Hart, the number one England goalkeeper at the time, was also in the side, but unfortunately, Pep replaced him with Claudio Bravo, one of the worst goalkeepers ever. It was only when Ederson and later Ruben Dias came along that City started to look safe at the back. I've been a City fan for over fifty years, and I like Pep a lot, but City didn’t start when he arrived at the club.

@@Pwecko I was talking about how he brought players that fit right away because of his philosophy of playing football, he always preferred players who were good on the ball with their feet, thats why some players were shown to leave and others were brought in to replace them. The players you mentioned were all the core of the team and they already had what Pep or any other manager in the world would ask for in a player so of course Pep was happy to work with them for as long as possible, but there were also players like Mangala, Bony etc that weren't in his plans so they had to leave.

City didn’t start when he arrived we won trophies from 2012 and forward. We already had a great team. Yes, we would maybe not be the best team in the world but we would certainly still play the most beautiful football cause city is about teamwork

Man utd have spent more than city this decade and have been spending money for several decades. If no skill and football knowledge and passion was needed they would actually be good. Man when i look at john stones i feel so proud i thought he will not survive at city like most of the players from the first season. He had to fight for his place in every season at the club. Now look at him pep guardiola made him a cdm, he's one of the reasons that city are winning so much.

' Quartnate Bourne ' City included. This is beyond reality movie, from book that happens rarely and extra ordinarily not from world vision(s). How many years had kept City matured funs' kept for champion ? Who thought K.B.D becomes dynamic after the champions league final against Chelsea ( nose and chest damages - bloodyone )? I'm not still understanding Pep why he ignore ( underestimate ) most comments as such kind for in stance, gym fitness specially at hands ( for B. Silva, K.B.D. .. ), problems of Brazilian goal keeper and Alvarez must be at best eleven ( if not substituted in earlier ) ...etc. centralising from vision and reality of my own as Tevez ( who had scar at neck dangerously and came in from Man. utd ) I supported City since champion after long time. I am here, CityMan ~ Daddy`Man !

Thank you for everything Pep. Please don't renew and depress us fans for another season. Need a coach who play direct attacking football who makes atleast 3 substitutions a game. He singlehandedly was responsible for the loss against Brentford. He looks like he's gonna let Arteta win with his bloody overthinking Imagine having to play possession game with a guy like Haaland upfront. Enough is enough.
