Superman gained the ability to fly thanks to the Fleischer cartoons of the 40s,the studio thought that having him constantly leaping from point to point was wasteful animation so it was easier to make him fly. The story of his being able to fly after the introduction of Captain Marvel/Shazam is also valid.

Superman is not weak against magic. He is just weaker to magic. Why is it described as a weakness? Because think of it this way. Superman hit with a bomb and not harmed but same strength in magic makes him bleed. So it’s assumed it’s a weakness but….. Human hit with spell= dead Superman hit with same spell= injured So Superman doesn’t have a weakness to magic. It’s just not as strong compared to other attacks received. There’s multiple examples in comics and shows that prove this.

I have not seen Superman use his microscopic vision in years. The same for his super-vision, which combines his telescopic and x-ray vision.

Actually Captain Marvel, AKA Shazam could fly and right after DC finally won their court case against the company publishing company that made Captain Marvel two months after Superman gained the ability to fly.

actually no, superman gain his flight from the 1940's flecter cartoon, after that cartoon came out they put that abliity in the comics, way before the creation of shazzam, get your facts straight bro

Not a vacation, the radio voice for superman got sick so they invented kryptonite because he had a cold. Darth Vader trained Superman. Clark's middle names are usually Joe or Jerome after his creators.

Something else that might be added to this list - The 1938/1939 Superman became "earth 2 " Superman that married Lois lane - But was merged out in "The Crisis on Infinite Earths" So was the original Supergirl, Superboy, Super pets, and more. As well as all superheroes were "rebooted" including Superman in said Crisis on Infinite Earths. With new Origins for virtually everyone. Though DC , and Marvel loves to reboot origins anyways. He literally became a completely differenty version. though still maintained some details.

You forgot to mention that green Kryptonite makes Superman hear the cries of every Kryptonian before their demise. That's why it's his weakness. Also his powers are forever growing as time goes by. There are many versions of Superman, basically he's a mortal with god-like abilities, like Superman One Million, where he recreated Lois Lane much after her death and recreated Krypton, also he reached the 4th wall.

Nothing this video has mentioned is unknown too long time Superman comic readers. Even that story about Christopher Reeve refusing to wear a bodysuit is well known. Superman starting in the first appearance in Action Comics not having the ability to fly is well known. Everything mentioned about Kryptonite and its different variance is well known. Really getting bored of of these videos about subjects that have been gone over repetitively to the point when it's annoying as someone asking youif you knew that water causes any object that it comes in contact with to get wet.

Superman comes from Jewish roots this why there ( El is another name they use for God) the house. Of. El? I think it was based off Samson . His creators were both Jewish men so in theory Superman is Jewish!!!!

get facts straight originally Lex Luther and Super boy were friends until Lex Luther's lab caught fire and super boy blew it out with super breath which caused chemicals to spray Lex and caused him to loose all his hair and Lex Luther swore to get even with super boy and later superman for causing the tragic experience.
