The first girlie with the Mom who raised her when she was a teen and told her stories- It is NOT, and I repeat, It is NOT your Mom's decision if you have kids or not! It was most likely her choice to get pregnant and have you as a young teen, doesn't mean you have to AT ALL! Even though your Mom would probably wish you would have kids it is once again, not her decision and she should be acting like a grown adult considering she's in her forties. You are a free person who gets to make their own choices and no one else decides it for you. No one! And if your husband supports your decision with no kids then that's settled! No kids! And even though I believe that it is probably not the wisest choice to get pregnant and have a child as a teen, it is not my call and my say doesn't matter because it is not my life and choices. And like I don't have a say or concern in your Mom's young teen pregnancy and having a child, she doesn't have a say in yours. Even though she is your mother and always will be, you will always have the last say in your choices in life. You got this girl! P.S. I say let your mother play out her childlike tantrum. Acting like that over your daughter not having kids is unacceptable and brings shame to women in their mids.
