The release of Google Earth in June 2005 changed the game. From that day onwards, so long as you had a charged phone you would never get lost. But the main thing we all love doing with it isn’t using the maps, it’s picking random places on the globe from the safety of your home and having a sneaky little look. But some of the things that have been seen have sent chills down our spines. These are 30 strange things caught on Google Earth!

That so called giant centipede question was answered straight after. The art installation Le Serpent D'ocean. It's really rather obvious that the 'centipede' is a skeleton

Big snake...a really bad photoshop job. The giant centipede is the sculpture you showed later. The size is the same...130 meters

Veery interesting about the mermaids. I saw a baby that was deformed and it looked like it had a fin that also had a tail that had deformed kind of like feet. It was o KZfaq. The baby was in the hospital. It looked very strange. I feel sorry for it. What a shock or would be to see that as your child. Oh dear.
