Night Crew

Night Crew

2 жыл бұрын

Introducing a new generation of night hunting like the world has never seen. It's the start of Night Crew's 4k era and the detail is unprecedented showing coyotes, fox, and bobcats in unmatched clarity. Their lights of death combined with the latest camera technology have moved things to an all new level, giving their viewers a front row seat to the action LIKE NEVER BEFORE. On this compilation the team captures predators in unimaginable detail as they approach the call. One viewer says 'I've never seen a coyotes pupils that clear"! Some of you asked for just kills, well this video gets straight to the action right out of the gate. The fur's about to fly!
Night Crew's goal from day one has been to deliver the best night hunting content possible and it'll be a long time before anyone shows the world of hunting at night like this ever again....even for them!

Once they're onto the call and/or decoy they'll stay on it. btw, Night Crew is all about this lighting technique(!) vs the IR and thermal optics many of us use, and the proof is in the pelts. Cheers.

Back in the early 1980s I shot and dogged for a living just East of the St George area in central Queensland- ( Australia)shot for Kangaroo pelts and dogged for pig meat…..used to whistle in the odd fox and Dingo…we had bounty’s on them then,paid by the local shire council ( big money back then) . I learned how to imitate and injured rabbit by whistling- something I learned from an old Dingo shooter I meet when I was a boy.This video takes me back down the years to a past I loved and miss. You boys sure do have some style and finesse tho and some fantastic shooting skills. I live now in the Kimberley in North West Western Australia…. How I miss the cold clear nights of central Queensland in those days. Thank you for this amazing video. I’ll be watching everything you put up.

I’m not a hunter. I don’t own a gun. In fact, I don’t like killing (thanks military). But people need to understand that this is control in order to keep their livestock and families safe. If you happened on this video expecting rainbows and sunshine for the coyote, a nasty friggin predator, you came to the wrong place. This is necessary. It has to be done. There are plenty of other channels you can watch where coyotes are treated just fine; I would suggest going there instead of wasting time here. To the video creator, keep up the good work.

You surely can speak the coyote language fluently as not very many out there can get target this close! Congrates on that and what is your otherwise secret if not the language barrier! But my question: I see you go for body aiming at all times. Is it the LHL that is your primary aim? If so, do you care about shooting from right or left side of the boy (Left foreleg body junction) and do you ever consider skull aiming? In essence what is the most favorite targeting location for you, and which has the best instant stopping power?

Just curious for context - how did it got to the point where there are so many coyotes running around your property? Is this normal? Are they overpopulating?
@CephalonAxii
@CephalonAxii Жыл бұрын
I doubt it's just their property. They likely are a business going from one place to another, most likely hired by farmers who are having predator problems or just survey an area for activity then hunt. They are a Facebook group too. Coyote and Bobcat wise, they do run rampant killing farm animals and pets in most areas so killing them is likely allowed year-round depending on how far in the sticks people are. But a licence is required for hunting and a special license for night hunting. Or at least thats how it is in Alabama as an example.

Have you ever tried a .25 pellet gun? I've seen Tim Wells videos of putting down coyotes on his channel. The current higher powered PCPs like ones from FX and others are super accurate and silent. Keith Warren has shot 4 hogs with a.25 PCP in less than a minute. PCP Air guns don't alert everyone around you. I'd like to see y'all try that!!
@Deathbomb9
@Deathbomb9 2 жыл бұрын
They still make noise, so no idea what you mean by silent. Pressurized gas of any sort is going to make noise when released. They might be quieter than a rifle but these guys really arent worried about alerting people around them to what they are doing. They are in Texas on private land performing a legal activity at the land owners request and permission the neighbors also dont have an issue with it happening. This isnt your backyard in the suburbs or state land. Why downgrade if it's not needed?

@@Deathbomb9 Sorry for the correction and you seem to be wrong on this. It is not Pressurized gas that create the bulk of the sound. Any projectile that is fast enough to break the sound barrier, is gonna make a loud noise and it's that breaking barrier that is loud. Keep it under 900 feetish per second and it would be quiet. Otherwise, you will hear it from far.

@@iraneman1668 well, yes. But also no. The burning powder also causes the sound you'll hear behind the gun or near it. But that has a range on it and you can actually estimate distance to the shooter based on the report. The sound will actually travel at the speed of sound. Physics is awesome. It can only ever travel at the speed of sound. Talking, cars, gun shots, thunder, it all moves at the same exact speed based on the medium it's moving through. At specific energy levels you lose some power to ignition. Think of watching someone burn paper or cotton in a closed system by just compression or dieseling(same principle of diesel engine operation). It's the same reason we see flashes in ballistics gel when it's hit at sonic speeds(+1125ft/s). Again, physics is awesome. If you've ever heard a zing at the range, that's a report off a ricochet. I personally have been shot at and have heard zing and crack, and even that zing is powerful enough to be heard with a headset on. The crack just means it's a lot closer. Like being closer to a plane taking off rather than just seeing them during take-off. But back to something I mentioned before. Hearing the zing, you'll hear a bang after. That's the shot after it left the barrel. Breaks and suppression can change this sound to the human ear and cause the directional sense to be thrown off a bit, but if you count the timing you can get a read on distance. It takes a little more guesswork than seeing a flash like with lightning and thunder, but works relatively the same. It's variable and gets you a ballpark estimate at best. In some cases you can disguise the sound like if the shot is into a noisy market or during a battle. But many times you won't know where the shot came from if a suppressor is used since it's goal is to contain all the unspent powder and burn it off while also changing the tone and energy of the shot. It's been a while since this conversation so I'm trying to talk about a lot of subjects rather than just reading the comments we sent back and forth lol. Nothing wrong with being wrong and then learning. I like to talk on this subject so I hope I helped share some info while also hopefully not making things too convoluted, haha. Wrapping your head around it can be difficult and other times it's not, varies person to person. If you want to know more about something specific let me know.
