I am curious though as I have forgotten what makes me happy, and the things I thought made me happy in the past don't anymore and I wonder if things that I haven't experienced that I think might make me happy, I wonder if they actually would. All I know is the frequency of my smiles, is very minimal, but as every moment passes I am making new memories as I progress slowly. I suppose I just have to give new experiences a chance to become good memories, together with giving new other people a chance as at my age of 48yrs and other people of my age would have their own scars that life has left upon them too, to a lesser or greater degree. I just have to keep this in my conscious mind maybe even verbalise it with new people I meet so that there aware of the fact also and so too keep it in mind. I can only hope my experience of life will improve to wanted memories and nurturing and flourishing memories.

The Persians decision to keep attacking the Spartans is considered to be one of the greatest military mistakes in history . many think that the best thing to do was to simply go home you don't have to take my word for it just ask any historian

+xDaZJMx it was a mistake because of the large casualties they took at Thermopylae 20,000 and at The Battle of Plataea 257,000 to 100,000 died at the hands of the Greek allies and they almost lost the whole navy at Salamis, Xerxes had withdrawn after the battle of salamis leaving his men with out a king to rally behind when they finally arrived home in Persia plague killed about an estimated half of his remaining forces which was followed by a long period of political turmoil the turmoil lasted for over 100 years by that time Alexander the great had become king of Macedonia and i think everyone knows what happened then because of this many beleve this to be the beginning of the end fro the persain empire
